Chapter 1 (Rewritten)

Hold up, let's go back to a few hours earlier before we start now, shall we?

Standing behind Dr. Frederica Nikola Tesla and Dr. Lieserl Albert Einstein, the members of the security team sweat profoundly as they watch the red-headed scientist have a furious expression on her face as she stares at the Honkai generator in front of them.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" she exclaimed, her voice sharp and demanding. Her red hair seemed to flare with her emotions, giving her an almost fiery appearance. The security team members exchanged nervous glances, well aware of Dr. Tesla's reputation for her fiery temper.

"Umm, Ma'am..." A member of the security spoke before flinching as the red-headed scientist shot him a glare. "Last night, some of our security team members were attacked by an unknown individual. We checked the security footage, but it was sabotaged. It is believed that said individual was the one behind this..."

Looking over the side as the red-headed scientist follows suit. It was two of their Anti-Entropy mech, both of their cockpits were open, revealing the empty cores within the mechs.

"I got hit by a bagel..." Some random guard commented, unaware they were fueling Dr. Tesla's anger.

"Are you fucking serious?" It was completely unbelievable to Dr. Tesla as her frustration grew more and more. "You meant to tell me that someone managed to infiltrate in, without notice, the security team was knocked out by a guy with a fucking bagel, and got away with it!?"

The security team members exchanged glances with one another, before one of them spoke up, "We sincerely apologize for our incompetence." They said, bowing down to the red-headed scientist.

Furious and annoyed with the security team as she turns over to Dr. Einstein, who has been gathering information about the new generator in front of her.

Drones surrounded the generator as it collected numerous of data from the generator, her curiosity was immediately piqued as she noticed several anomalies in the energy signatures of the generator.

"Fascinating..." said the blue-haired scientist as she turned over to Dr. Tesla, showing her tablet to the red-headed scientist. "Frederica, take a look at this and tell me what do you see."

"What?" She said, her frustration was still there as she took the tablet and started reading the information displayed on the tablet. Frustration quickly turned to confusion as the red-headed scientist read the data for the second time.

"...The hell is this?" A confused yet still angry look quickly appeared on her face as the red-headed scientist said bluntly and gave back the tablet to Dr. Einstein.

"You can't read it as well?" Dr. Einstein asked, taking back her tablet. "It's what I got from scanning the generator. Its energy levels displayed here are incredibly high. They're at least on par with, if not stronger than, the energy output of our Honkai generator."

Yet the moment she said that Tesla immediately took note of her choice of words. "What do you mean by that?" She asked, raising her eyebrow. "You said it's a modified Honkai generator, but it's not using the Honkai? Did you lose a brain cell or something? Because what you just said made my mind dumber."

"I can assure you, my brain cells are perfectly intact." She said, focusing her attention on the tablet in her hands. "I ran the scan several times and got the same results every time. There's not a single trace of Honkai being used to power it."

Dr. Tesla's confusion deepened as she stared at the tablet once more. The energy readings displayed were unlike anything she had encountered before. It was clear to her that the energy they picked wasn't from Honkai.
