This is a biggie... (a long one and a yikes one.)

Kitty

I can't breathe.

I'm not used to this cold air at all and trekking through the snow with a snow suit on, snow board boots, and a board attached to my foot is not easy.

Im living for it though. Im in love with this snow and honestly, I'd roll in it right now if it weren't for the fear of not being able to get back up.

My braid is tugged on gently from behind, "Kitty!" Bryce leans around me with a smile, "Your snow suit is cute!"

I smile warmly at Bryce, "Thanks, Kouvr let me use it."

His smile drops a tad, and his eyes flicker over to our friend, "You fit in her stuff now?"

I furrow my brows, not understanding what he meant by that but he puts on that fake smile of his and wraps his arm around my neck, almost knocking me over.

"If she breaks an arm you break two." Vinnie calls out from a couple feet behind us, turning our heads his way.

Alex and Vinnie effortlessly slide through the snow, their feet not even strapped onto their boards all the way as we make our way to the resort lift. When we all met up at the hype house 2.0 as they call it, they discussed all of us just skiing and snowboarding on our own, but then I pointed out the fact that we'd have to all walk up the hills ourselves before we snowboarded down them... which led us to where we are now. Honestly I don't even know how we made it here. Even in the truck we were sliding all over the road, giving me mini heart attacks.

"Can I sit with you on the lift?" Bryce asks me, his arm still around my neck, "There can be three people to a life so Vee can sit on my right."

I snort at that, "With you in the middle?"

He holds out his free hand in front of us and gives me a pouty face. "I need both of my parents to hold each of my hands."

A snowball hits Bryce in the back of the head, but the impact also sprays me in the face. We both part, stopping in the middle of the path, and I spit the water out of my mouth and blink my eyes as Bryce whirls around with his hand on the back of his head.

"Quit pestering Kitty!" Alex shouts at him, his hands already balling up another already, "that's my job! Kouvr and I get to sit with her, we just got married!"

I wipe my face with my gloved hand, and Vinnie maneuvers around Bryce and Alex as they continue to argue, Kouvr and Mila now approaching them from behind.

"Come on." Vinnie motions me to follow him, so I do.

He takes one of his feet off his board to slow down, half walking, half sliding like I've been trying to do this whole time but I'm not very good at it, I'm doing a limp, but he stays with me, and pretty soon we're at the ski lift.

I stop at the line with my boyfriend, the both of us watching the people in front of us effortlessly climb on the lift and I purse my lips.

"You'll be fine." Vinnie encourages and I shake my head.

He leads me to where we need to be, and guides me to sit right when we need to, tapping my legs to get me to lift my feet with my snowboard once we start to move off the ground.

"Grab the railing." Vinnie tells me, pointing to the bar on my right so I do what tells me to, as we ascend into the air.

We go at least 10 stories in the air above the hill, people skiing and snowboarding down past us.

I turn my head toward Vinnie, who has headphones on as he leans his head back, his goggles pushed up off his eyes and his mask pulled down off his mouth.
