Chapter 8|Rhea's POV

"I'm going to breakfast, with or without all of you people!" I yelled as I walked out of the Gryffindor Common Room.

    James was at my side in an instant. Mum followed with Dad. Mum and dad were holding hands and I pretended to puke. Dad rolled his eyes while mum gave that famous glare of hers. "Yes mum?" I taunted.

     "Grounded," and then she walked towards the hall with dad. James and I stood there shocked.

     "You can't ground me! I'm the same age as you!" I yelled. The whole corridor looked at me like I was insane. I let out a crazy laugh and everyone looked away. James laughed and kissed my cheek.

     "That's my girl," said James. I blushed red and he put an arm around my waist. I leaned into him as we walked and girls gave me some glares. Guys gave me lustful looks. James glared at them and they backed down. I barred my canines that I had control over at the girls and they whimpered. I chuckled.

     James and I walked into the Great Hall and were tackled. I rolled away from the attacker and swept my foot under their feet, knocking them off balance. I tackled them and pinned their arm behind their back. I blew my hair out of my face and looked at the attacker. It was Sirius.

      "SIRIUS!" I roared. He flinched.

     "Yes Rhea?" He asked. I glared at him.

     "You know what," I said, narrowing my eyes.

     "Sorry?" I gave him a look. "Ok! Ok! Sorry!" I got off of him and he got up, his fan club swarming him.

     "You so deserve that Padfoot," James said, glaring at Sirius. He smirked.

     "They just love me!" Sirius said and he smirked. I rolled my eyes and gagged. James led me over to where mum and dad were. I sat next to mum while James sat next to dad.

     Dad set his gaze on James instead of a book. James squirmed under his gaze. "Yes Moony?" James asked. Dad still looked at him.

     "Dad?" I whispered so no one could what me besides Mum, Dad, James, and Sirius who sat next to Dad.

     "Yes baby girl?" Dad asked, his gaze still on James.

     "Would you stop staring at Prongs! It's creeping everyone out!" Sirius yelled. I stifled a giggled along with mum at dad's embarrassed expression.

     "Attention students!" Dumbledore called us to attention. We turned to look at him. James was playing footsie with me under the table. Mum hit my arm, I barely felt it, and we stopped.

     "I have an announcement to make. We shall be having a ball in one months time, on May 29. It shall have no theme so you may dress how you want. That is it, tuck in!" Dumbledore announced. All the girls squealed and I groaned, loudly.

     "I had to do one of these in the future!" I whisper yelled. James laughed at me along with Sirius. I glared at them and bared my fangs. They yelped in fear as Dad laughed, his head in a book he was reading.

     "Honey! We can go dress shopping together!" Mum yelled. I yelled in fear of shopping. Dad gave me a look.

     "It's not that bad," dad chastised. I liked at him.

     "Shopping is torture. Ginny, Harry's going-to-be-girlfriend, made me go with her and Hermione, a muggle-born girl and my best friend, an it was terrible! We shopped for hours and I barely found a dress!" I said with a grimace. I ate quickly and stalked out to the Black Lake. It's the place I go when I need to think. It does scare me still, but this time has been better to me.

     "Well, well, well. Look who we have here boys," a scratchy voice drawled out. I turned around and saw about 5 guys with different house symbols on their robes and ties.

     "Just go away," I ordered. They laughed at me. I just glared at them, my wand behind my back. They started towards me and I sprinted away, next to the Black Lake towards the castle. They were calling out behind me, nearly to me.

     "Come one pretty baby," the boy drawled again.

     "She's a pretty one Michael," another boy yelled in encouragement. That encouraged Michael and he ran faster than tackled me. My wand was taken by one of the other guys. I screamed.

     "JAMES! JAMES!" I screamed for him. Footsteps were heard in the castle but they were too far away. Michael started taking off my robes. I screamed louder.

     "RHEA!" James yelled. His form was streaking across the grounds, hell bent on finding me. Dad was right behind him with Sirius and mum.

     "JAMES!" I shrieked as Michael and his goons grabbed me and started running with me. I beat Michael's back but it did nothing. James ran faster with fire in his eyes.

     "Stupefy!" James yelled. One of Michaels goons went down. Michael and the 3 other goons ran into the Forbidden Forest.

     "Petrificus Totalus!" Dad yelled. Another goon went down, frozen with a full body binding curse.

     Michael stopped and put a hand over my mouth. I bit his hand and whipped around. Someone came into the clearing with me. "Flipendo!" Someone yelled. Michael was thrown back against and tree and was knocked out.

     I looked at the new person in the clearing, it was James. He crossed over to me and wrapped me in a hug. I sobbed into his shirt but he didn't care. I wrapped my legs around his waist and he walked out of the forest with me.

     Dad, mum, and Sirius were waiting for us and rushed to us. Mum tried to take me from James but I was latched onto him. Dad pulled me off of James and I screamed.

     Dad automatically handed me back to James. I stopped screaming but still sobbed. That scared me, he was going to rape me!

     "J-J-James," I sobbed out. He stroked my hair.

     "Shhh.... I'm right here," James whispered. I whimpered as James led me up to our dorm. Mum, dad, and Sirius stayed in the common room while James and I laid on his bed, holding onto each other like the world depended on it.

     It felt like it did though.
