You're Leo's girlfriend and you get stabbed in the middle of a fight. No one noticed in the chaos. Not trying to set Leo into a panic, you try your absolute best to act casual on the truck ride home.
"Fuck!" Your hand instantly went to your side, fingertips grazing the handle of the knife that had sunken into you. The ninja who'd done it raised his hand, now without his dagger, in a silent cheer that he'd gotten you. His celebration was cut short when he was suddenly gone, a quick sight of a chain from Mikey's nunchucks wrapping around his arm, and that was it.
Blood began to slowly seep out from under where the blade impaled you, and it burned like hell.
You gritted your teeth and took some deep breaths, trying your best to remain calm. You remembered what Donnie had said once while the guys were talking.
Always keep the blade in to slow or stop the bleeding. Once the blade is out, you are bleeding freely, and that can be dangerous.
"You okay, Dudette?"
You pulled your jacket over the handle of the knife, turning to face the orange ninja behind you. "Yeah, yeah I think I've lost my breath." Out of all the brothers, you'd tell Mikey last if you'd gotten hurt. If you told him, the whole world would know.
"That was a close one." He approached you. You stood straighter against the screaming in your abdomen, hand holding your jacket closed. "You sure you're okay?"
"Yeah." You spared a glance over the rooftop, which you'd been gathered to discuss important matters when the foot ambushed. You'd had a decent amount of training and could hold your own, but you were no ninja.
The night was cold, and you'd been dressed in black stretchy jeans, a dark grey tshirt, and a black jacket.
Other than if it got on your hands, no one should really see the blood.
The last few ninjas were taken down, and you watched Leo's eyes frantically scrape the area for you. With the hand not holding your jacket, you waved, his eyes stopping on you, and you saw his shoulders drop slightly as he began to breathe.
You smiled at that, momentarily forgetting there was a knife stuck in you. That look, oh that look. You'd decided long ago that you'd die for that look.
You really hoped that wouldn't be tonight.
Tis but a scratch!
Shaking your head lightly, you fought against the nausea feeling swirling inside you as you moved forwards to meet Leo half way. He stoped right in front of you, a proud look on his face.
"You did good." His blue eyes wondered your body. "You alright?" You wanted to question how he missed the handle sticking out of you. Though the jacket cover it, you thought it would've been obvious.
"Of course, dear. Are you?" You turned the question onto him. He seemed to take the bait.
"Always."
"Alright lovebirds, let's get movin' before the next round comes swooping in." Raph patted you on the back, jolting you. You let out a noise of shock and pain, but quickly tried to cover it with a nervous smile when all four heads turned to look at you.
"Sorry, a bit sore." You excused.
Mikey nodded enthusiastically. "I could give you a massage back at the lair~" he teased. The way his eyes filtered back towards the oldest brother let you know he was trying to get under Leo's skin. "If your boyfriend doesn't mind, of course."
"I very much do, Mikey." Leo spoke through his teeth, a bit of possession showing through at the comment. You laid a gentle hand on his plastron. "And if you wish to stay breathing without any issues, you'd keep your hands to yourself." Mikey threw his hands up.
