"Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" Ryeowook heard these questions as he tried to move through the crowd that had gathered. "I'm fine." he insisted, he needed to go after Kibum, this was his first time hearing that Kibum liked him and he wanted to talk to his best friend.
Of course, Kibum was partly right, he shouldn't fall for Kyuhyun just like that. Kibum's confession confused him, he couldn't figure out how he felt about it. It's my fault that he's sad. Ryeowook thought as he finally escaped the crowds of people watching him. He slowly walked in the direction of Kibum's house. He carefully counted his every step, dreading to see Kibum cry. He walked as slowly as possible, but he couldn't drag it forever, in twenty minutes, he was in front of his friend's door.
He took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell.
No one came to the door.
Maybe he had been wrong? Maybe Kibum had gone somewhere else? But he had ran in this direction ...
Ryeowook rang the doorbell again, still Kibum did not come. He tried the doorknob, to his surprise, it was unlocked. But is it right to just walk into his house like this? I'm being inconsiderate, he probably wants to be alone now. Unsure of what to do, Ryeowook sat down with his back against the door, "Kibummie!" he called with a sigh.
Inside the house, a small cry made Kibum snap out of his misery, "Kibummie!" it was a mournful voice. "Ryeowook?" he asked himself, he quickly washed and then wiped his face to erase his tears before going to the door.
He did not want anyone to see that he had been crying.
"Ow!" they both yelled as Ryeowook fell backwards right onto Kibum's feet when he opened the door. "Sorry! I didn't know you were leaning on the door!" Kibum apologised as he quickly helped Ryeowook up.
"It's alright." Ryeowook said, a little shyly.
They stayed like that for a few moments, with Kibum holding on tightly to Ryeowook's wrists. "Sorry." Kibum said, bowing his head and letting go of Ryeowook.
"No Bummie, I'm sorry!" Ryeowook said, "I was really mean to you! You're my best friend and I ignored you all along!" He gave Kibum a big hug, "I'm tired Bummie, can we talk this out later?" he whined, suddenly tired from all the drama.
"Of course, you sleep, I'll call Teukie hyung and tell him where you are." Kibum agreed and picked the smaller boy up bridal style. He carried Ryeowook to his bed and gave Leeteuk a quick call, he assured his hyung that Ryeowook was perfectly fine and that he would be home that night. Kibum heard Leeteuk passing on the news to the others with him. He heard Yesung shouting on the other line, and then Leeteuk ended the call. Of course Yesung isn't happy with this. Kibum thought ruefully, Poor Wook, the sooner he breaks up with Yesung the better.
"Bummie!" he heard Ryeowook whining, "Cuddle?"
Kibum smiled and cooed at his friend, "Aw Wook, you're so cute! My cute little baby!" he tickled Ryeowook's tummy and Ryeowook squealed with laughter. "Go to sleep now, rest up, there's a good boy." Kibum told Ryeowook, tucking him in. He wasn't sure why he was suddenly talking as if he were a parent, but it sounded nice.
Apparently, Ryeowook thought so too, "Okay, daddy." he grinned before closing his eyes and turning over on his side, "But you hug me!" Kibum felt butterflies fluttering in his stomach, he knew Ryeowook did not mean it like romantically. Ryeowook would ask whoever was with him for a cuddle, but Kibum couldn't help feeling special. So there, Yesung, look at this, Ryeowook wants ME! he thought smugly as he lay down on his bed and wrapped his arms around his best friend. But then his thoughts drifted back to what Ryeowook had said earlier, Can we talk this out later? Kibum suddenly dreaded later, he did not know what Ryeowook had to say. He wanted to stay peacefully on his bed like this forever, in a deep sleep, where his troubles could not reach him unless they came in his dreams.

Kyuhyun was greeted with a shriek from his mother the moment he entered his house. "Why have you been with poor people? Kyuhyun!"
His father, seated in his special armchair, looked on, interested to see how Kyuhyun would handle his mother.
"You corrupted me!" he shouted at her, "I remember everything now! I wasn't always a bully!"
"Those poor boys were the ones who corrupted you!" His mother cried, she looked agitated. Her hair was a complete mess, sticking out all over the place, her face was as red as a tomato, her arms were sticky with sweat, "How can you just remember like that?"
"Go take a shower, mother." Kyuhyun said distastefully, looking his mother over with a disgusted look.
"You ingrate!" she screamed at her son.
"You evil woman!" Kyuhyun shot back. Hearing this, his mother let out a scream that sounded as though it came from the devil itself. With this fearful scream, she lunged at her son. Kyuhyun raised his arms to protect himself from his mother, who seemed to have gone insane.
His father stepped in, he pried his screaming wife's fingers off their son and pushed her into his chair, "I just wanted him to love me." she sobbed, collapsing, "I just didn't want my own son to hate me."
"Well then you have to stop being hateful and cruel." her husband told her curtly. The truth was that Kyuhyun's parents had never loved each other, they had been forced into an arranged marriage by their parents and barely cared for each other. Especially Kyuhyun's father, he was a kinder man, and he had to deal with living with a cruel woman.
"You never loved me either." his wife accused him in between her sobs.
"And you me." his husband replied, unabashed, "Kyuhyun, go to your room, alright?"
"Yes appa." Kyuhyun gave his mother one last glare before heading upstairs. Despite the glare, Kyuhyun did feel a bit sorry for her, after all, she had been forced into an unhappy marriage. He locked himself in his room alone with his thoughts, he thought about his parents. His mother had kept his forgotten memories a secret from him because she wanted to get along with him. She had been selfish, but the cause for this selfishness was love. It must be hard for her, Kyuhyun thought, She was forced into this marriage and didn't get along with either her husband or son. But it's her own fault that she's so cruel to less fortunate people.
He cursed himself for not asking for Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Donghae, or Heechul's numbers from earlier. Now he would just have to wait to talk to Ryeowook at school on Monday. He was worried about Yesung though, how far would Yesung go to keep him and Ryeowook apart? He felt an unfamiliar heavy feeling in his chests. He had never had this kind of problem before, in fact, he had never had any problems ever. He was perfect. Everyone either loved him or feared him, no one ever got in his way. Until Ryeowook came along.
Just his name sounded so perfect that Kyuhyun kept repeating it in his head, Ryeowook. Kim Ryeowook. Ryeowook. Ryeowook. Kim Ryeowook. And then, quite suddenly, the chanting in his head changed. Cho Ryeowook. My Cho Ryeowook, the voice in his head sang.
Needless to say, Kyuhyun was obsessed. In his head, he had already begun fantasizing.
Ryeowook was there, in his arms, being kissed senseless.
Kyuhyun lips puckered just thinking about this, he wanted to feel Ryeowook's sweet lips on his own, and their bodies against each other. He wanted to make Ryeowook laugh and blush.
He wanted to be Ryeowook's boyfriend. And Yesung couldn't stop him.
