Chapter 39

It was June 21, Ryeowook's birthday. Nearly half a year had passed since he and Kyuhyun had gotten together. 

The doorbell rang and Ryeowook jumped up excitedly. "Yunho hyung!" he hollered, opening the door. But instead of Yunho, Siwon was standing there. "Oh," Ryeowook drooped, looking rather disappointed. "Hey Siwonnie hyung. Thank you for coming to my party. Eunhyuk hyung!" he called. "Siwon hyung is here!" 

Siwon smiled and took out his present from behind his back. It was a small box wrapped in giraffe gift paper and a gold bow. 

"Thanks hyung!" Ryeowook grinned delightedly. 

Siwon ruffled Ryeowook's hair fondly. "It's no problem, Wook. Happy Birthday." 

Kyuhyun came up behind Ryeowook and hugged him from behind. "You chose the gift wrapping well, hyung," he greeted. "By the way, Hyuk hyung is looking for you. But if he starts making out with Hae, or if Leeteuk hyung and Heechul hyung start kissing, then you're always welcome to come back to us."

Siwon laughed. "Thanks, I'll remember that." he walked past them, heading towards Eunhyuk, Donghae, Leeteuk, and Heechul. 

Ryeowook had just closed the door when the doorbell rang again. He quickly jumped forward to open the door. This time, it really was Yunho. 

"Yunho hyung!" Ryeowook screamed excitedly, throwing himself at Yunho and hugging him tightly.

Kyuhyun gave Yunho a glare. "Wookie-aa," he said, "Don't hug other men like that." He pulled Ryeowook back and whispered in his ear, "You're only for me." 

Ryeowook turned a light shade of pink as Kyuhyun started nibbling on his earlobe. 

"Stop!" Yunho ordered. "Control yourself, Kyu. Let me give Wookie my present first." 

"You're not carrying anything," Kyuhyun pointed out. 

"It's in my pocket." Yunho dug around his pocket for quite a while before finally producing a small piece of paper. "Here it is. Happy Birthday my favorite dongsaeng." he handed Ryeowook the paper. 

Creasing his eyebrows in confusion, Ryeowook read what was on the paper. "Kim Ryeowook...Restaurant....Chef.....CHEF?" Ryeowook repeated in surprise. "Yunho hyung, what-?" 

Yunho smiled proudly. "My present to you is a promotion. Congratulations Ryeowook, you are now a Chef. I didn't know you could cook so well until recently. You'll now be Changmin's second-in-command." he joked. 

"Thank you so much Yunho hyung! I love you!" Ryeowook gave Yunho another big hug. 

Kyuhyun growled. "What about me?" he asked grouchily. 

"You're still a waiter and a server," Yunho told him. 

Cursing under his breath, Kyuhyun possessively pulled Ryeowook out of the elder man's arms and hugged him tight. "Just give me back my Wook," he muttered. 

Giggling, Ryeowook leant up to give Kyuhyun's nose a small kiss. He jumped up and wrapped his legs around Kyuhyun's waist. "Carry me," he murmured, snuggling into Kyuhyun's chest. Kyuhyun breathed sharply. 

"KIM RYEOWOOK NO NO NO!" 

Seeing what Ryeowook and Kyuhyun were doing, Heechul got up and yelled. "CHO KYUHYUN HOW DARE YOU CORRUPT MY BABY LIKE THIS?" 

Kyuhyun laughed heartily. 

"YAH, YOU THINK IT'S FUNNY? I'M STILL MAD AT YOU EVEN IF THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A FEW MONTHS! YOU WANT ME TO KILL YOU?" 

"Heechul-aa, calm down," Leeteuk whispered, pulling Heechul back into his seat. 

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME, CHO KYUHYUN?"
