Come To Me (Kyuwook Fic)

Chapter 24

"Bye!" Kibum waved happily as he turned around to say good bye to his best friend once more. His smile was radiant, brighter than the sun, lighting up the dark night better than any streetlamp could. 

"Bye bye Kibummie!" Ryeowook waved. Kyuhyun smiled and waved. Together, they watched Kibum turn his back on them so that they could see his bag on his back and his hands in his pockets, walking home happily, his figure casting shadows under the dim streetlamps. 

"Kyuhyunnie, let's go home." Ryeowook smiled, staring at Kibum disappearing into the distance. 

"Let's go." Kyuhyun reached for Ryeowook's hand, intertwining their fingers as they began to walk home, this time leaving behind no regrets. 

Leeteuk smiled as they walked through the door, "You're late today. Did you go out after work?" 

"With Kibummie! It's all okay now, hyung." Ryeowook told his brother happily. All the weight in his chest had been lifted and replaced with a light, floating feeling. 

Happiness. 

"Awesome!" Leeteuk smiled, "Heechul just went home, you just missed him." 

Ryeowook's shoulders sagged, "I wanted to see Chullie hyung." he said sadly. 

"Never mind, he'll come again soon." Leeteuk quickly told his youngest brother.

"Heechul hyungs' coming?" Eunhyuk asked, his mouth full of banana. 

"Yes." Leeteuk answered. 

Ryeowook stared at the banana Eunhyuk was holding, "Hyung share banana with Wookie!" Ryeowook tackled Eunhyuk, causing his older brother to nearly fall over and shout, "Hey, get your own banana - you little - Wookie! Give me back my banana!" Eunhyuk shouted as Ryeowook grasped at the banana and took it.

"Banana!" Ryeowook said happily as he gazed at the half eaten banana that he had fought hard for. He took a large bite. 

"Teukie hyung! That was mine!" Eunhyuk moaned unhappily. 

"Ryeowook, give Eunhyuk his banana back." Leeteuk said sternly. 

Ryeowook gave Leeteuk a scornful look - and then stuffed the whole banana into his mouth, "Can't," he muttered, his mouth full of banana, "All gone, eaten." 

"You little thief!" Eunhyuk cried, he strode over to the sofa where Ryeowook's giraffe plushie was placed - and kicked it. 

"Hyung! My giraffe!" Ryeowook screamed, rescuing his giraffe. 

"My banana!" Eunhyuk shouted back. And the two began bickering more loudly than ever. 

"I was eating it first!" 

"But you know that bananas and giraffes are my favorite things!" 

Kyuhyun looked on in amusement. It was just too cute. He silently crept up behind Ryeowook and put his arms around his waist, "What about me?" he pretended to pout, "Aren't I one of your favorite things too, Wookie?" 

Eunhyuk mimed gagging.

"You're one of my favorite people, not things." Ryeowook said impatiently. 

"People? Not person? Who are these other people?" Kyuhyun asked playfully. 

"Teukie hyung, Hae hyung, Chullie hyung, and Kibummie. But definitely not Eunhyuk hyung!" Ryeowook glared at Eunhyuk meaningfully. 

"Oh for Gods sake." Eunhyuk snapped. But you could tell they weren't really mad at each other. 

"Here Hyuk hyung, you can have half of my chocolate bar." Donghae offered, he had been sitting there silently the whole time. 

"It's okay, Hae, you can have it." Eunhyuk said kindly. There was a small blush in his cheeks. So much for cutting off his feelings for Donghae. 

Angry at Eunhyuk not taking up his offer, Donghae pouted, "No one cares about me." he whined childishly, "Ryeowook has Kyuhyun, and Leeteuk and Eunhyuk hyung don't pay attention to me and Yesungie isn't here." He had already made up with Yesung the day before. 

Leeteuk went over to give Donghae a hug, "That's not true, Hae, we all care about you. Now why are you all acting so childish today, mm?"

All three younger brothers answered at the same time, "We're SLEEPY!" 

"Then go to bed! Go take showers, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun! Eunhyuk, Donghae, get into bed, Teukie hyung will tuck you in." Even though his tone was all stern you could tell he was actually trying to keep a straight face, "Go!"

"Good night, Eunhyuk." Leeteuk tucked Eunhyuk in with his monkey plushie, he put up the younger's bangs and gave his forehead a kiss. 

He moved on to Donghae's bed and handed him his fish plushie, "Good night, Donghae." He gave Donghae's cheek a kiss before going to the last bed. "And good night Ryeowook and Kyuhyun." he gave Ryeowook a kiss and his giraffe plushie. "Good night Kyuhyunnie." Leeteuk said again before going to his own bed, "I love you all." 

"We love you too Teukie hyung." they all chorused back, even Kyuhyun. Even though he hadn't gotten a kiss, Kyuhyun was perfectly happy, in fact, he was so happy he couldn't keep the goofy smile off his face. His parents had never kissed him good night. They had said good night when he was younger, just a small boy, but they had barely ever tucked him in. 

Now, he was being accepted into a new family. Where everyone loved each other and everything was warm. Kyuhyun used to think these things cheesy, so cheesy he wanted to throw up, but now he knew how good it felt to be loved. Maybe the reason he had hated these things so much before was because he had never received it, inside, he had been longing for love, so much that when he saw it he felt jealous without realizing. 

No matter how rich he was, his money could not buy love, and he couldn't do anything to make his parents really care either. 

So everything changed when he was welcomed into the Park family - Lee family or Kim - whatever it was, let's just say Ryeowooks' family. 

Leeteuk had wanted to kiss Kyuhyun good night too, but he was still a little shy and scared that Kyuhyun would not like it. 

Leeteuk felt like he needed someone to hug right now, so he got up quietly and slipped into Donghae's bed, where Donghae was already dreaming and muttering something about 'Eunhyuk' and 'saranghae' and .... 'fish'? 

Leeteuk sighed sadly, feeling sorry for Eunhyuk and Donghae. Their relationship seemed hopeless. They were brothers. Not that if they dated, Leeteuk would have a problem with it. In fact, Leeteuk thought it would be cute. But the rest of the world didn't see things things like him. They despised this kind of thing, but Leeteuk ... it didn't matter if his brothers dated, he just wanted them to be happy. 

At least now, Ryeowook was happily snoring against Kyuhyun's chest. Happy with his new found relationship, happy about Kibum. At least things were finally going right for one of them. 

But Leeteuk was sure that not long from now, things would go right for all of them.
