Working at The Weathervane didn't last long for Vada. It is soon time for lunch so she says goodbye to Tyler, offering a slight smile before leaving. Tyler barely smiles, seeming to have a lot on his mind as he watches her leave.

Vada sits beside Enid on the bleachers, eating a few grapes as Wednesday is at her cello, looking grimly at everyone. Most eyes are on her. Vada grins softly and throws a grape at Wednesday. She isn't far from the front row where Vada is.

With cat like instincts, Wednesday catches it and looks at Vada, her lip twitching as a smirk threatens to appear.

"Good luck, Wens." Vada smirks at her, soft eyes on her. Wednesday simply eats the grape and looks back at her music book.

Enid looks over. "Since when did you guys become so close?" She asks.

"We just kinda get along." Vada shrugs and looks at Enid. "It's nice when your roommate doesn't expect you to badazzle everything about your life."

Enid rolls her eyes. "Color isn't a bad thing, ya know." She informs simply.

"Wednesday and I would both have to disagree, although, I do like blue." She admits. She looks over when she notices the girl beside her staring at her clothing. "What?"

"Where did you get the normie clothes?" Enid asks in confusion. "They are.. kinda fire!" She smiles.

"I spilt coffee all over myself at The Weathervane so Tyler gave me spare clothes." Vada informs calmly, looking away as the Mayor begins to speak, cutting off the thousands of questions that Enid probably has.

"Thank you everyone! It is my honor to celebrate this town's history and founding father, Joseph Crackstone!" He grins, holding a microphone in front of him. "He believed that with a happy heart and an open ear, there was nothing this town couldn't achieve."

He turns and looks at the statue before looking at the others in the stands again. "So, together as a community and with our friends at Nevermore Academy, We've built a monument to celebrate his memory." He says happily.

"Now, may the spirit of Joseph Crackstone be memorialized for eternity." The Mayor grins. Music plays as people with cameras rush up to take a picture of the Mayor and Principal Weems together.

The Mayor hits a red button that causes water to fill the new fountain, everyone turning to look at it.

Vada looks at Wednesday, furrowing her brows as she notices the girl already looking at her, a smirk on her lips. "Watch." She mouthes.

Vada looks back at the statue. Within seconds, fire encases it after a small explosion. Everyone begins running from the bleachers, screaming in fear and panic.

Wednesday stays where she is, playing a dark set song on her cello now as she watched everyone run and scream, smirking. Vada stands from where she is, watching the fire with wide eyes as a smile comes to her lips as she walks over to Wednesday. "For me?" She asks happily.

Weems looks from behind a wooden sign, looking at the girls as her brows furrow. She walks off quickly in anger as the bus to Nevermore begins to fill up, the driver honking.
