Ej and his friends briefly stopped as they eventually spotted the said nest. It looked nothing like what they imagined.

Considering the tall heights and movements of the quinses. They have assumed that their nest must be a place where they have more space and no walls at all.

But the place they're looking at is very much different from what they imagined.

Tall towers of red ores. There is only a narrow path that is the size of the quinses body width. The nest also has a weird atmosphere above it with a shade of visible blood red.

And looking from their location, they could see Yvel and her dragon flying above and creating as much sound. The nest is literally on fire but the ore doesn't turn to dust. Kitsch was killing every quinses that enters the nest and burning their flesh into ash so the place is also snowing but with ashes.

"Look. They're climbing the tallest tower." Maki suddenly said and pointed at the tower in the middle of the nest.

Dozens of quinses are seen climbing from there like rabid creatures. Racing to the top and jumping on the dragon to catch it off guard.

"They are obviously brainless. They may be able to jump off that tower but it's not like Kitsch is always above the spot." Nicholas commented as he chuckled.

The two were amused watching what looks like a circus in the nest. Ej happened to turn around upon sensing something approaching. He immediately tapped the two when he saw more quinses coming, probably because of the loud roar that the dragon is making and is loud enough to be heard even from their location.

The three quickly morphed to their wolf forms and dashed towards the nest. Bringing more to the circus.

"Where do we go if we arrive at the nest? More are definitely there and they will kill us if they hear us coming!" Nicholas yelled in their minds. The three communicate telepathically.

"We'll definitely need help!" Ej said and looked up to the dragon and its rider.

"Ej! Tell me those are not quinses running towards us!"

"This is a fu**ing ambush!"

Ej sensed that the two wolves with him are more worried as it would really seem that they'll be caught in an ambush. With a bunch of quinses on their tails and more coming from the nest.

But nevertheless, it didn't make them stop running. Nicholas' eyes went completely black and released a strong wave. At least enough to slow down the tall monsters.

Ej took this chance and started to howl. Calling to the goddess that their race had worshiped and feared since the ancient times. Nicholas and Maki followed suit and their calls eventually became audible.

Not only to the goddess that was flying above the nest. But the call also reached their alpha and fellow wolves. It would definitely bring them to the nest by all means to protect the members of their pack.

The wolves watched as Yvel jumped off her dragon to one of the ore towers. She left Kitsch to draw in and kill the quinses in their nest. While she flew to the wolves' location and effortlessly made it on their ground.

Yvel noticed that they are slower compared to the ones currently in the nest. But sensing a dark magic around them, she figured one of the wolves must've did it.

Yvel made a ball of misty light on her hand and casually threw it to the closest quinses behind them. When the light touched its skin, the quinses slowly turned into moondust. And when the dust settled and spread out, the quinses it touched turned into moondust as well and the same thing happened until all the quinses that were chasing the wolves from behind turned to dust like a chain reaction.
