BLUE HOUR: THE FINAL CHAPTER

It has been 2 weeks already and just as they planned. The primes prepared a little event just for the ten of them for their awaited gender reveal.

It is a simple and easy process. They didn't need any tools since magic is in their hands already. So just by simply touching the womb will allow them to identify whether it is a baby boy or a baby girl.

It's also perfect timing because there will be a meteor shower that's gonna last for at least ten minutes according to what Kitsch could tell. He could sense it.

"It's starting!" Coleen gasped in amazement as she watched the rain of meteors before their eyes.

It is a sight that not everyone has the privilege to see. So it felt very surreal at the moment.

"Shall we begin?" Jade asked with evident excitement in her tone.

They stepped back to give space for the couples. Yvel is first so Yalex helped Kitsch to kneel in front of her. Everyone's equally excited, and even the mothers themselves.

"Here we go." Kitsch mumbled before placing his shaky hands on Yvel's belly bump.

Everyone watched and did not make a single move or sound. It's like any distraction would destroy the planet. The dragon's eyes glowed purple as he stared at her stomach with the utmost focus.

About a minute went by. He let out a soft chuckle and smiled endearingly at his wife.

"Well?" Yalex nudged him, waiting for Kitsch to tell them the gender.

"It's a boy." He said with a very gleeful smile.

The primes congratulated them both and were clapping their hands like seals. The males were the most happy because it was a boy.

"Alright! Your turn!" Blue says to Trevor.

They calmed down and quietly waited as it was Trevor's turn. He also knelt in front of Coleen and placed his hands on her belly.

But the sooner he touched it, it felt like he got shot with loads of horrible images.

Trevor could feel everyone watching and he didn't want them to worry. Nor make Coleen feel bad. This is a special moment for everyone and he doesn't want to ruin it.

So as much as it terrified him to watch all those images projecting in his mind. He had to endure it until it passed. About at least a minute. It eventually stopped and Trevor was able to identify the gender.

He smiled and leaned closer to place a gentle kiss on her stomach and then spoke to the baby telepathically.

"I'd care less of what you showed me... I still love you as my child."

He then leaned back and looked at everyone with a happy smile.

"Mako would be shocked. She won't have a little girl to play with." He said before adding... "We're having a boy too."

The primes immediately congratulated them both. And even though there won't be any girls. It's still good news for everyone. After their small event, they went to the dining hall to eat dinner.

Everyone's very loud, especially the ladies. They wouldn't stop talking about the babies that are only 2 months away from being welcomed to life.

While everybody's busy pampering Coleen and Yvel with attention. Yalex noticed that Trevor's been really quiet the entire time. Unlike Kitsch who tried to stay cheerful despite how weak he feels.

"Let's talk outside." Blue suddenly said to him. As he too was also observing Trevor. He was the only one who found it weird why Trevor took more than a minute to identify his son's gender. So he's been observing him since then.
