"I can't get pregnant." Rhian said almost inaudibly before breaking into more tears.

"W-what?"

"What do you mean... y-you can't get pregnant?" Blue asked as if almost whispering.

"I'm sorry. I-I should've told you sooner... B-But I was afraid you'd leave me... f-for not being able to give any man would want." She said in between her cries.

She grabbed a hold of Blue's left arm and desperately held onto him.

"Please don't leave me." She cried and it broke his heart.

Blue engulfed her in his embrace and started caressing her head.

"Baby. I'd never leave you for that. I understand if you can't give me that but that's not a reason for me to leave you. Please don't ever think about it." He assured her before leaning back to look at her face.

"I love you. And I don't mind if it's just us two. I'll never leave you." He said again before pulling her for a deep and passionate kiss.

They were at it for a few minutes and once Rhian had calmed down...

"Aren't you going to ask me why I can't get pregnant?" Rhian suddenly asked while playing with the end strands of his hair.

"Will it be alright for you to tell me? I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable by talking about it." He said.

Rhian huffed and sat properly to look at him face to face so she could see his reaction.

"After my mom and I killed all my siblings. She said that I shall be the last of our kin and must remain for eternity. She didn't want me to take after my father so she performed a surgery on me and took away my ovaries. She made sure I'll never be able to get pregnant. Thus, removing my ability to have my own child."

"That is why I was also called the last of the Sates because nobody will literally be a Sate after me. Because I can't give birth to an heir."

Rhian observed his reaction but he was expressionless.

"It must've been hard for you to be given that kind of burden." He said before smiling at her genuinely. "But I don't care whether you can give me a child or not. I love you for who you are and not your ability to give an heir." He said with an assuring tone and it made Rhian feel truly loved and important.

"Come to think of it. This finally answered the question as to why you never got pregnant when we literally had s*x like every night!" Blue suddenly blurted out playfully and made Rhian laugh loudly.

Blue comforted her and made sure to keep her happy and not sad about the news. Although he is sad himself that they won't have a family like the rest of the primes. But he truly loves her and would stay even if they'll be just the two of them.

Many guests had gathered at the festival to finally witness the wedding of their treasured moon goddess.

The heavens were lit with billions of sparkling stars and were accompanied by beautiful and solemn music.

Everybody watched with attentive eyes as the ceremony proceeded and was hosted by the angel of death. Being the man to officially tie the knot between the two primes.

The wedding didn't take a while until the two were announced as officially married. It made all the moon people stand up and rejoice. Even the primes and their invited guests from earth. It was a happy day for everyone and they all congratulated the newlyweds.
