After Kitsch and Yvel finished bathing the baby. She brought Kamal to their room to put clothes on him. Kitsch stayed in the washroom to clean up the baby's stuff.
After he was done, he walked to their room and watched as Yvel babytalks with Kamal and played with his small hands. Peppering soft kisses on the baby's face.
He leaned by the window and watched his family with sheer delight. But only a few minutes later, he winced upon feeling something heavy pressing on his chest.
"Hey. Will you be okay here by yourself? I'll just take a quick flight to the mountains, it won't be long." He said to her while trying to keep a calm expression.
Yvel pouts as she wants to join him but can't leave Kamal because Samuel and Jade went clubbing while Blue and Rhian went to look for the vampires.
"Don't worry. We can go for a flight together if Samuel and Jade go back. I just need a little air." Kitsch chuckled as he walked closer to them and kissed the pout away from his wife. He leaned back as they stared lovingly at each other's eyes. If Jessi was there to react she would've burfed.
"Fine. But don't be long, okay." She said and leaned closer to kiss him again.
Kitsch smiled into a kiss before he stepped back and made his way to the door.
"I'll ask Salem to come here so he can watch you both." He said before leaving the room.
The sooner he got to the hallway, the pain on his chest had become more imminent and unbearable. He started to have a hard time breathing.
I was just fine earlier. What's happening?
He thought and luckily spotted Salem who was walking to his direction with someone.
Kitsch, come back!
The dragon panicked when he heard his sister's voice in his head. The two moon people eventually saw him and quickly ran to him.
"Your Majesty! Are you alright? You look pale!" Salame exclaimed as he observed his King who had now lost his strength to keep himself standing straight.
The two caught him in time as he fell.
But before he could say something, they heard Yvel shrieked and called his name.
It didn't take long before the moon goddess rushed out of the room with Kamal. She had a mortified expression on her face as she ran towards them and crouched to level with Kitsch.
"Y-Ysabella. She's in a lot of pain." Kitsch huffed and grabbed Yvel by his hand.
"I-I don't understand. Yalex is with them! Shouldn't he have let us know if something went wrong!?" Yvel said.
"I have to go back." Kitsch said.
"I'm coming with you. We can leave Kamal with my people here just for a moment. But first, we need to look for Blue and Rhian. Samuel and Jade are probably wasted by the time we find them." She said.
"You can trust us with the prince Your Highness! You must leave now so you can find your friends as soon as possible." Salem said to Yvel.
"We have to go to the Daoan pack first. They're the only ones who know where the vampires went. Blue and Rhian probably paid them a visit too." Yvel said.
They've agreed to leave Kamal with Salem while the two go back to Korea. Kitsch had to shift and fly above the clouds. It was a good thing that it's dark and their route had a storm so it made it easy for the two to travel without getting spotted. When they got to Korea, they immediately went to the heart of the forest in a hurry and waited for the wolves to arrive.
