The Face You Wear

"That Face In The Mirror,
Not Sure You Know It's You,
But I Feel You'd Understand
A Little Better If You Knew

Why My Heart Plays The Drums
Every Time You Walk By,
And The Cars Slam The Breaks
At The Sound Of Your Cry.

Why The Sun So Envies
All The Brightness You Cast,
And Every Head Turns,
Followed You, As You'd Passed.

Why The Gaze Of The World,
Goes Wherever You Go,
If You'd Seen For Yourself,
Then Maybe You'd Know.

Sleepless Nights, I Ask Myself,
Have You Even Got A Clue?
That Face In Your Reflection,
Have You Seen What It Can Do?

It'll Steal The Heart Of All Who Pass,
I'm Not Sure That You Know;
That Once You Lay Within My Arms,
You Can't Ask I Let Go.

For Hours Spent In Ponder,
Yet I Can't Descibe The Feeling,
And Every Moment Spent With You,
A Part Of Me Is Healing.

So I Can't Help But Notice,
That You Wonder Why We Stare,
But You'd Understand Us Better,
Had You Seen The Face You Wear."
