One Day I Was Swimming
In The Depth's Of The Sea,
When A Cry From The Bottom,
Was Pulling Me.So I Swam With The Curl
Of My Shell Behind,
Anxiously Looking,
To See What I'd Find. And You Know What I Saw?
In The Midst Of The Dark?
Was The Shell Of A Clam,
In The Jaws Of A Shark. So I Swam From Behind It,
To Dodge It's Great Jaws,
And I Snapped At It's Tail,
With My Mighty Claws. And The Shark, Out Of Shock,
Swam Away In Dispair.
And The Clam Still Sealed Tight,
Stayed Right There...Frightened And Hidden,
She Didn't Peak An Eye.
And I Tried To Talk To Her,
But She Did Not Reply.Days Went Quickly By
And I Refused To Leave Her Side,
Her Shell I Feared Would Shatter,
From The Harshness Of The Tide. And Deep Within The Night, I'd Hear,
The Cry She'd Never Show The Day.
Her Shell, So Tightly Shut,
That Not A Tear Could Make It's Way.But Day And Night I Waited,
Yes, I Sat Right By Her Side,
For I Knew There Is More Behind That
Scarred Up Shell In Which She'd Hide.Only I Could See The Beauty,
Of That Damaged Shell.
If Only She Could Trust Me,
Maybe I Could Know Her Well. And I'd Try To Heal Her Wounds,
But She'd Just Turn Away,
Drilling In A Deeper Hole,
In The Sand In Which She'd Stay.Until The Day I Saw A Shine,
From The Slightest Little Crack,
And The Face Inside That Shell,
Had Finally, Looked Back...And Now Today I Realise,
Why I'd Loved This Scarred Up Girl,
Cause' Now I See, Just Us Alone,
She Holds The Prettiest Pearl. And She And I Together,
Protect It From The Tide,
And Just By Me, No Longer,
Does She Ever Need To Hide"-Arabella Katt (xCaptainCl3mentinex)
