Chapter Thirteen

Margo's Pov
Ugh there's too much light it hurting my eyes. It felt oddly warm surrounded around me in one whole. With a heavy flutter to my eyes and the metallic scent now took over me. I could feel the sudden weight on my entire upper arm.

I strained my tired eyes for a moment flicking my eyes towards, the heavy weight breathing out a small chuckle of amusement, lifting my hand with a tremble to stroke through his hair a free times in place. I leaned over to press a kiss to the top of his head with a smile.

"Hi Edward." I whispered with a tiny indication of exhaustion going through me. I could feel him shifting around in his fake sleep for a moment, before I perked up relaxing at the sight of my mom slipping into the room all dressed in her nurse scrubs shooting me a look of pure relief over her features carefully tugging off her hair covering.

"Jesus Margo you wanna keep giving me a heart attack with your clumsiness don't you? Carlisle said he had everything under control but that wasn't gonna stop me from panicking, honey you fell through a window with Alice and Rose. Edward here has been here keeping a watchful eye on you."

I stroked at his hair some more, trying to do my best to relax into the hospital bed. A lot of stress was slipping from my body all at once. That, and the rushing headache pounding over my skull.

"Get some rest you get to go home tomorrow okay?" She pushed my curls away pressing a kiss to my temple sweetly before kissing all over my face. She lifted herself up before slipping out of the room, for a moment you could hear all the loud noises outside before I whispered to Edward still messing with his hair.

"Edward are you alright? Is everyone else okay?" He carefully lifted his head up with a quite groan, gently pressing his hand under his chin staring at me with softness in his eyes before he simply nodded at me a couple times.

"Yeah everyone is alright, James is dead, Laurent ran off and Victoria we have no idea but Carlisle said you passed out from the shock of it all. My clumsy Margo." I held back a smile. When he lifted his hand up to hold at the side of my head lifting his head up for a moment to press a few kisses over my cheek in place.

"Listen I'll do all the healing that I can as long as I don't have to go to prom." He clicked his tongue against his inner cheek a couple times, before he grinned nodding in agreement. He had handed over the tv remote to pass into my inner hand out fingers touching for a brief moment.

With such a force I didn't even know I had in me, the remote went flying out straight into the wall causing me to yelp as it shattered all in once place. My heart was hammering away before looking towards Edward who also looked shocked.

"Okay so Margo do you see this? That's kinda like eating the dead human cells." I nodded my head a couple times in place focusing on the slides that were present in front of my eyes.

I turned my head to focus on Emmett who had a tight grip on my hand with an excited grin, moving around in his seat a couple times fast.

"That's the venom.. Now I had thought Edward had gotten it all out of your system but it looks like a little stayed in your system which.. Has given you some of our little strength and speed. You are still human just with the vampire like abilities." I clicked my own across my inner cheek a couple times in disbelief, before hearing Jasper counting down with a grin on his face.

"One, two, three go." Our hands were lift off into one rough motion. Emmett forcing a lot of his upper quick strength and speed. I pushed his arm and hand back in the opposite direction hearing Edward calling out to Emmett firm like.

"Be careful Emmett she is still human." He spoke in a panic like tone, Jasper just patted at his upper shoulders a couple times the grin not leaving his face.

"I don't think  you have to worry about Margo too much." In a blink of an eye Emmtet's hand slammed roughly onto the counter with speed, causing him to groan. I yelped in surprise as a small corner of the counter had broken off from impact of his hand.

"Damn it Margo!" I snickered in surprise flexing my hand a couple times looking back up towards Carlisle, Edward and Jasper.

"Esme I broke a little off your counter. I'm sorry!" I sheepishly grinned at the sight hearing a shuffle of laughter in response from my loud exclaim.

"She's gonna be one badass new born one day."
