SUMMER LOVE

VI - You are such a weak gal, Amanda

*Theodor*

I have to admit it. That girl looks attractive when she's mad. And perhaps, I deserved it. Whatever, it still didn't hurt that much.

*Narrator*

The day went on as usual. After lunch, they did some music related activities, including music workshops. Amanda enjoyed them. She even found out that Theodor could play the piano and the guitar.

When the moon came, Jack told them they were going to do a campfire. Amanda, as always, didn't get very excited.

*Amanda*

A campfire? Really? That's super cliché. Well, at least it's kind of chilly tonight.

I still don't talk to Theodor. He was an idiot. But he looks cute playing the piano. Never mind, he is a real idiot.

After dinner, everybody made a circle and Jack gathered some stones and twigs to light the fire.

'Amanda, come seat next to me!' - Charlotte said. I did so. 'So, have you talked to Theodor already?'

'No. And I won't. He was an idiot.'

'I like being an idiot.' Oh great, here we go again.

'You can't seat with us.' - He ignored.

'I forgive you. I forget the slap and you forget the thing on the lake. It sounds fair to me.'

'I don't think so.' I was trying, once more, to look tough. I was melting inside.

'Ok, then.' - He knew I was gonna give up. I smirked.

'I forgive you. Just because I know that really hurt.' I sniggered.

'Oh, yes, it's still swollen, see?' - He showed me his cheek. And, because I'm weak, I kissed him on the cheek very quickly.

  Damn Amanda, now he thinks you're easy bait.

Then, I looked at him. 'Sorry. Just thought it could help with the healing process.' - We both started laughing really hard. God, he was so handsome. His smile...

'You know what? I like you Amanda, I really do.' - He said sceptically and then smiled.

'I kn-' - Jack interrupted.

'Ok guys, so tonight is a very exciting night. We, monitors, have noticed that some of you are not quite into the spirit of camping yet. Got to change that. Tonight, we are doing a night hike.' - Everybody burst into applause - 'I would not be so excited yet. Tonight, we are going to divide you into two groups: boys and girls.' - Everybody complained - 'Wait. Each of the groups will get a map and both of the groups will have to do this night hike on their own. Now, if you see, there's a place you'll have to get to. And that place will be the beach.' - Applause again - 'Yes, yes, a lot of fun. But it is not gonna be that easy. Each group will have to survive a night in the forest, alone. The only thing you can bring with you is the lanterns and the maps of course. You also have to get to the spots on the maps to get the goods and the food. Well, hope you all got it.'

After talking, Jack and Bella (another monitor) started answering some questions.

'A night hike, huh? Aren't you scared?' - Theodor was testing me.

'You wish.'

A night hike! Finally something I'm excited about. It is gonna be AMAZING, despite the fact that we are on our own. Like, girls, on their own. Can't be good.
