"My name is Ink!" The skeleton named Ink cheered, he felt familiar to me in some way as if we met before.. I just shook my head from the thought.

Ink lend a hand for me which I gladly accepted, feeling connection between them. I didn't have to inspect skeleton covered in Ink because I knew them.. did I?

"Oh yeah, I'm also the protector of AUs, what are you doing in this AU anyways? It was abandoned a long long time ago." Ink titled his head.

"I thought I already knew your name.. but I'm Dream, Dream the guardian of Positivity and I used to live here since childhood." I replied, guessing I was now an adult after thousands of years of living but most are in stone.

"Ohhh, so what are you doing here? I'm determined no one else was alive and where did that crying statue go?" Ink inquire, just realizing the missing statue that represented this AU.

"I just answered your question, I used to live here before the accident that happened which caused well.. this mess." I pointed at the bodies which were scattered around, they smelled disgusting.

"Yeah uh.. you lived here?" Ink looked a bit surprised before starting to think about something, staring at the stump of the tree of feelings. "Ehh.. alright." He gave a thumps up.

I sighed in relief before noticing he was now paying attention to me, he wanted answers. "Oh and about the statue? I honestly don't know where the statue went, probably walked away." I lied, it was ridiculous.

"Hmm, I don't think a statue can walk away because it's made out of stone.. maybe someone moved it?" He said, I sighed again since he said earlier that I was the one one alive.

"Well nevermind." Ink looked away for five minutes, we stayed silent before he noticed me again but he was confused. "Who are you?" He wondered, raising his non existent eyebrows.

"And I have to repeat it again.. Oh Ink the forgetful skeleton.." I mumbled in slight anger before calming down. "I am Dream as in the guardian of positivity, not dreams." I added, he nodded.

"My apologies, I just remembered.. I have the worse memories so I forget every.." Ink counted his fingers. "Uh, 3-10 minutes so I have to write on my scarf." Ink said, writing on his scarf what looked to be my name and role.

"Alright, I forgive you." I smiled but behind my smile, I felt like talking about his trash memories but only made me smile more nervously.

"Anyways, what are you doing here in this.. very interesting outcome of my AU?" I questioned the other skeleton, he seemed to sweat.

"Oh no, I'm not from this place! But I'm here because.. I don't remember actually but I know it was for a good reason!" Ink looked down, confused but he was telling the truth due to his emotions.

"Yeah.." I agreed with them, staying silent but thought about his emotions, it seemed to.. weak to say the least but he was still showing emotions without actually feeling it, suspicious.

"Anyways, it gets lonely in this already dead AU and I don't know why Error hadn't deleted it by now but you can live with me! I have a guest room you are able to stay in!" Ink suggested and for a forgetful skeleton like him, he was very kind.

Ink grabbed his scarf while grabbing a pen out of his pocket and wrote some reminders, I also saw a few reminders on his scarf such as grab the attention of the Bad Sans and satisfy ¿??.

"Ah.. thank you so much, Ink!" I thank the skeleton for his deed, smiling at him. This was a great start for our friendship since I'm not really that trusting of him. "Wait, I still need to get something real quick!" I said.

I bended down next to the tree of feelings and picked up the golden apple I saw earlier and a strange.. purple shard aswell for reasons

I felt happiness run down my bones. "I'm glad I still survived after all the centuries I haven't moved and from all the sufferings I managed to live with but that isn't the problem now." Suddenly, I was dragged to a portal that Ink made.

NARRATOR POV

Dream was suspicious of the skeleton, he wanted to find out why he couldn't feel emotions from Ink but Ink notice Dream's stare and question marks as his eyelights. "Dream, are you alright because you look worried?" Ink asks Dream, waving his hand infront of him before Dream nods hesitantly.

"Just.. nothing." Dream lied, Ink just shrugged and moved on by going to Dream's new room. He introduced books, table and.. he explained how everything in the room worked, he treated Dream like a kid.

Once Ink was finished explaining, he waited for a comment by Dream who was still processing everything. "Oh, the room looks.. basic." Dream looks around the white room, Ink felt very uncomfortable based by his actions on looking away.

"I can change your room if you want like the walls." Ink took out his brush from his pockets and smiled at Dream but deep inside, he was sadden by the remembrance from a memory never forgotten.

"Just make the walls galaxy themed but the floor can remain white and maybe add a carpet? Sorry if I am asking too much from you." Dream apologized, feeling sad for Ink about his orders but he just nodded and created everything Dream said.

A few seconds later, the room looked pretty in Dream's eyes. "This room is really nice Ink.." Dream compliments his new room, Ink blushed from the compliment since he wasn't used to one even being a famous creator and artist.

"Thank you.." Ink left the room while running, Dream heard a splash from the hallway and knew Ink had portal away to probably deal with things.

Dream sat in their comfy beanbag, burying themselves in it. "Wait, when did I get a beanbag? Whatever.." He had to care less about it and rubbed his temples, he was quickly lost on thoughts.
