It was family game night at the Hopper-Byers household and they were going to have a Twister tournament. Joyce VS Hopper, then the winner facing Johnathan. El facing Will and that winner facing whoever won between Johnathan, Joyce, and Hopper. Johnathan held the wheel and flicked it.

"Left foot red." He said, watching as his sister placed her right foot on a red dot. "Other foot, El." He stated gently. Joyce smiled up at Jim and he kissed the crown of her head while she nuzzled closer to him. A minute or so went by.

"Right hand yellow."

"Damn, I don't know if Will is gonna get it." Hopper scoot to the edge of the couch and leaned forward, watching the boy who was practically by now his son. (We all know Hop is more of a father than Lonnie ever was.) "Come on, bud." Jim encouraged. El's position was rather comfortable, and Will began to teeter a bit as he tried to move, beginning to completely lose his balance.

"You can make it, honey." Joyce spoke; however, Will toppled over onto his side.

"Nice job, kid." Hopper rubbed a hand on Eleven's head, messing up her hair and Joyce offered El a high five.

"You ready, mom?" Johnathan smiled, Joyce nodded.

"She'll probably beat me, your mother is much more flexible than I am." Jim smirked, earning a slap on the arm from Joyce.

"Really, Hop?"

"It's true-"

"Not in front of the kids!"

"Okay, okay. I'm just saying." Hopper held his arms up as the brunette shook her head at him.

"Okay, then. Are you two ready?" They both nodded. And a mere 5 or so moves later, they were facing the same way (overall) and Jim was behind her.

"Nice view, baby." He spoke lowly, causing Johnathan, the only one besides Joyce who heard, to roll his eyes.

"Shut it, James." She sighed.

"Right foot blue." Johnathan called. Joyce turned all the way around while Hopper just scoot his foot over. He smiled at her.

"Hey there, beautiful."

"Quit distracting me, you'll make me fall over." And yet her cheeks had turned a nice shade of pink.

"That's the whole point, Joy."

"It won't work anyways." She clapped back, rolling her eyes.

"Right hand green." They reached for the same dot. When their hands touched he attempted to lace their fingers together.

"Umm, that's illegal; you have to be on 8 different dots between the two of you."

"Yeah, Hop. Move your hand."

"No way, mine was here first."

"It was not!"

"It was too!"

"Quit fighting like little kids! Move your hands back, and I'll spin again! Since you can't handle it." Johnathan had a headache already. El and Will snickered and laughed amongst themselves from the couch. "Left foot yellow." Joyce went for a wild move, reaching over solely to steal the easiest spot he could've gone to.

"Seriously?!" He exclaimed, just a wee bit whiny. Joyce had to stifle her laugh, because if she did laugh, she'd fall right over. "Two can play at that game, babe." He shot her a devilish smile before copying her action, but instead on her, ending up with part of his leg on top of hers, their heads side by side. "Hey."

"Shut up." She didn't even look at him. He frowned, part of him hoping she wasn't actually angry. She glanced at him. "I love you, but quit being annoying, I'm trying to win."

"Aw, I love you too." It was a smidge sarcastic.
"Right hand blue." Joyce got the safest spot first, and Jim stayed still for a moment.

"I'll fall no matter where I go and I don't wanna fall on you and hurt you. I forfeit." He stood, groaning, stretching his old, tense, muscles.

"Softie!" Will teased, earning a glare from Hopper.

"I don't wanna hurt her, I'm like twice her body weight."

"Jim!" Joyce scolded.

"I'm like twice your height too!"

"Okay, that one was just mean to me." She scrunched her nose up a bit. He placed a hand on her back and walked back to the couch with her and watched as Will spun the wheel for his siblings. Due to El being younger and more flexible, she kicked Johnathan's butt. So now, for the win, both of Hopper's girls were up. He said nothing. Rooted for no one because he didn't wanna get yelled at. The game was intriguing, and actually went on for a while until finally, Joyce fell over. She was maybe 3 times El's age anyways. "Ow." She also cursed under her breath.

"I'm sorry, mom!" Eleven frowned.

"It's alright." Jim held his arms out to her she took them, allowing him to pull her up off the mat.

"Are you okay?" He chuckled lightly.

"Yeah, I landed on my ass."

"Do you want me to ice it for you?" Jim's smirk was returned with a glare from Joyce.
