Chapter 28

Anthony's POV

I feel like having a relaxing bath as it has been a couple of long days that we have had, and I feel like I haven't had that much time to myself, so I take the time to have a bath by myself.

I walk up to the bathroom and start the bath then go to get other clothes.

I walk back in and grab one that Addy made today and put it on the bath. I love the green color.

After I have relaxed in the bath I get out and dressed and walk down to make a cup of tea but as I walk through the lounge room Tim looks up and cracks up and I say "what are you laughing at"? Then Tommy and Addy look up as well and they too laugh. I shrug my shoulders thinking that my husband and friends have lost it.

While I make my tea, I glance at my hand and see that it is bright green. I walk to a mirror and see that my face is bright green. I know that I am bright green all over and I race into the lounge room and say to Adam "you bastard how am I supposed to go on the TODAY show tomorrow looking like this."? Tim turns to me and says, "oh well we have a Smurf and now we have a Ninja Turtle appearing on the show tomorrow" I glare at him and say, "you think that's funny do you"? Tim nods his head and I say "well if I wanted to see a Giraffe every day then I would go to the zoo. Oh, by the way the zoo called me today they want their giraffe back before I get charged with theft".

I hear a thud and I look behind me and see Tommy lying on the floor rolling around and crying from laughter. Once he has regained his composure, he looks at me and said, "Oh snap I think you were told Tim". This starts me laughing and Adam too. Next thing I know the 3 of us are laughing that hard we are crying, and I hear a voice say "what the hell is going on down here and Uncle Ant why the hell you are green like a Ninja Turtle is beyond me"? I turn to her and say, "this baby girl is your papa's doing and you Uncle Tim thinks it's funny, so I said that the zoo called, and they wanted their Giraffe back". She too laughs and says "my god you lot are mad. I think I will stay in my room at least I might stay a little bit sane that way".

We are all just gaping at her retreating back. I turn to Adam and say, "man she has our sass I love it". Addy looks at me and says "that she does. That's my girl". Tommy turns to me and says "you are not allowed to be by yourself with our baby girl anymore. You are rubbing off on her". I turn to Tommy and say, "yeah but Addy has sass too so whichever way she goes she will get it anyway". He nods his head and says "ok easy fixed she is not hanging out with you 2. She can only hang out with Tim, Andy and me". I look over at Adams face and I crack up. He is looking at him like 'what did I do'? Tommy looks over at Addy and he says "you can hang out with her only if I am around. If you cool it on your sass, then you might be able to spend time by yourself". I can hear Tim laughing and he gets up and says, "high five mate well done". Tommy high fives him and he walks away so I say to Tim "hey human giraffe can you make me a tea please". Just as I say that I feel 2 hands on my shoulder, and I look up to see Tim behind me and he says, "you can help ninja turtle".

The next day we all get ready to go to the TODAY show and when we walk in, we are greeted by the host Karl Stefanovic. He look at Addy and I and he says, "ok why the coloured body"? I turn to him and say, "just a family joke". He shakes his head, and he says, "ok you guys will be on in about in about 10 minutes talking to us then Anthony you will perform after that and Adam will be as the show finishes". We all nod our heads and get ready to go to make up.

As the time comes for us to go on, we all get our microphones on. I see Tim and Tommy do as well. I look confused as I didn't know it was going to be them as well.

We go on and they introduce us and say that we are talking about Gay Rights. I smile to myself and grab Tim's hand and squeeze it. We all walk on and sit down. I can see that there is another person there and they say they are against LGBT people. This is going to be fun, 4 gay people and 2 married couples.
