Chapter 46

Adams POV

After Tommy and I went out to do a few things the next morning he was very quiet on the way home and I was getting worried about him even more.

We get home and I notice that Tommy is still out of it, so I put my hand on his thigh telling him that he is my sexy baby.

I help him out of the car so I can help him have a bath and maybe have some fun. I can't help the smile that comes to my face when he sutterly fixes himself in his jeans.

As we walk in, we see Edna and Andy ready to go out and I can tell that Andy is not impressed that he has to go out with a security guard. I let him know that it is for Edna's safety and that there is someone after Tommy and Edna. He agrees after that.

After we say goodbye to them, I help Tommy upstairs to have his bath.

I sit on the edge of the bath and just watch him. I help him wash then we sit there just talking.

After a while he looks up at me and says can you believe we have been together 15 years? I look at him with a fond smile and say yes, I can, and I love you more everyday my sexy Glitter baby.

After Tommy got out of the bath and we had our fun, we went downstairs, and Tommy walked into the kitchen. I sat on the lounge until Tim walks in telling Ant he will help him shower. I walk into the kitchen and put my arms around my sexy husband.

A while after dinner we heard a noise outside so Tim and I get up to check out the back and we saw Dr Knob and he is out there with a gun which he points at me. He pulls the trigger, but Tim jumped in front of me at the last minute, so the bullet hits him instead.

I look down and see my best mate lying on the ground with blood coming from him. I pull my phone out just as Anthony and my pretty Kitty came out, but I stop Tommy from coming out any further as he doesn't need to see this.

Anthony falls to the floor with Tim's head in his lap crying for his husband. I tell them the ambulance is on its way and I also tell Anthony that he jumped in front of me. He saved my life as that bullet was meant for me.

Just as the ambulance gets there, I notice Tommy is missing so as I go up to pack a bag for Tim and Ant, I check my room to make sure Tommy is there, but he isn't there either and I notice his phone charger is missing. My heart falls straight to my stomach as I know my beloved husband has gone. I know he blames himself as well as I do. In reality though it's no one's fault but the creep that has been after my husband for 15 years and I'm not letting my husband and I'm certainly not letting this creep get away with stalking my family. This creep is going down but first I need to find my husband and get him back.

I run down the stairs and say to Ant listen you go with him I will meet you at the hospital I need to find Tommy first. Anthony nods his head and throws me his car keys and says take my car and find Tommy please I can't lose my brother as well. I nod my head and follow them out the door and lock it behind me.

I jump in Anthony's car and race out the driveway in search of my pretty kitty. Luckily, I don't get very far before I see taillights and brake lights on the side of the road. I slow a down a bit and pull the car over when I notice it's Tommy's car.

I jump out and run up to the window and knock on the window which Tommy rolls down and says babe I'm sorry I thought you would all be better off without me but I just can't live without you. Can you please forgive me and help me get through this? I nod my head and grab his hand through the open window and say Come on babe turn the car around and I will follow you home. We need to get to the hospital. He nods his head and I go back to Ant's car so I can drop it off.

We get back home where I drop Ant's car off and go to the driver's seat of Tommy's car and help him out and into the passenger's seat.

We race to the hospital where we race into the emergency to see Ant siting there twirling his wedding ring on his finger.

Tommy's runs up and says I'm so sorry this has happened all because of me. Ant looks at us and says it's not your fault it's the scum bag that can't leave you alone. I promise you he won't get away with this and he won't come near you. I have already told the police what happened, and they are going to call you soon to get your statement Adam. I nod my head and say Ok then, how is he? Ant looks at us and says he is in surgery. They need to get the bullet out, but he came too in the ambulance they said he will be fine. I nod my head and say thank god for that. I'm so sorry Ant that bullet was meant for me, but Tim jumped in front before I knew what was happening. Ant looks at me and says it's ok I would have done the same. He did it because he loves you 2 like brothers.

We sit there for a bit longer and I can feel Tommy fidgeting beside me and when I look his way, I see he still blames himself as he has that look on his face. I pull him in to my side more and put my arm around him, so his head is on my chest. I pull his chin up to meet my face and I say please stop blaming yourself ok it's not your fault. It's that creeps that keeps stalking you and I guarantee he won't be getting away with it much longer and this will be the end of his medical career.

I kiss his lips and say how about you come and help me get the coffees as I think it's going to be a long night? Tommy nods his head and I say to Ant won't be long mate we are just going to get coffee for us all. Anthony nods his head and says thanks I really need one right now.

After we get the coffees and make our way back, we just sit down and Tommy's phone rings, he pulls it out and I see it's our baby girl. He answers it then he says hang on baby girl I just need to speak to Addy for a minute. I look at him quizzically and say what's wrong? He moves the phone away from his ear and says Andy wants her to stay the night at his place and he will watch her all night. I think for a bit then say can I speak to her please babe? He nods his head and hands me his phone and I say baby girl can you please put Andy on. I need to speak to him. She puts Andy on, and I say mate you better watch her because if anything happens to her I will hold you personally responsible. He promises he will, so I say it's ok with me if its ok with her dad.

I hand Tommy back his phone and say it's Andy babe. Tommy takes the phone back and say Hello Andy yes, she can stay but as Addy said if anything happens to her we will hold you personally responsible.

He hangs up just as a doctor comes and asks for Tim Campbell's family. Anthony stands up and asks Tommy and I to go with him.

We walk up to the doctor and Anthony says I'm Tim's husband is he ok? The doctor nods his head and says yes, he will be he is awake and asking for you.

As Anthony walks away, I breathe a sigh of relief and I can see the relief on Tommy's face as well. I know he is blaming himself as well.

We walk into Tim's room and I see Anthony run up to him and cuddle him. I look at Tim and say mate thank you for what you did and I'm sorry that you were shot. Tim shakes his head and says mate its ok. You and Tommy have been through enough and I couldn't stand by and let you go through anymore. You also not long went through surgery and Tommy was a mess mate.

I put my arm around my husband and say yeah, he was like I was when they wouldn't let him see me after the car accident.

We leave the hospital not long after we saw Tim, leaving Anthony with him as I know he is still going through a lot of stuff and need his husband beside him like I do.

We get home and I lock the door behind us, and I lead my husband upstairs to our room with his bag that I took out of the car.

After I put Tommy's bag down, I go to pull him into my arms, but he stops and says not until you have a shower you have blood all over you. I look down and notice I have Tim's blood all over me.

I go into the ensuite bathroom and run the shower so I can have one. I strip my clothes off and throw them on the floor. I will get a plastic bag later and throw them out.

I hop in the shower and I am startled when I feel 2 arms go around me. I didn't expect Tommy to get in as well.

I turn in his arms and he says Baby I'm sorry I just thought you would all be better off without me. I know there are things you need and things you want to do but can't as you have me to worry about. I know Edna doesn't like to go out with security. I just thought you would all be happier but then I wasn't happy. I gently pull his chin up and say I won't be happier without you and neither will Edna. Babe we all love you and I for 1 can't lose my husband.
