At him berating me, I began to thrash around, raising my knee up to hopefully push it into his stomach. He had anticipated my attack, taking a step back, allowing my knee to hit nothing but the harmless air. I let out a small yell when nothing had landed, and felt that same hopelessness that I was accustomed to feeling whenever he was winning --

"I'm willing to bet you have more of them, don't you...?"

"Let go of-!" I began to threaten until his free hand began to search my body.

He tapped at my lower back and I immediately froze at his fingers. I could feel them through the material of the dress, and they had been ice-cold. Then, he began to move around until he reached my right front side, finding the other syringe that I had snuck into the area where my breasts were. The needle lightly scraped my skin as he pulled it out, uncapping it in the process.

He gave me a small smirk.

"Only two?" Aidan mused, looking back down at me. I thrashed my body to the side, wanting him to release me.

I was angry that my secret weapons were no longer a secret and that he was now in possession of them.

"I suspected you had three," Aidan informed me. I watched how his head tilted to the side in thought. "He must have dropped one in pursuit of you..." Aidan then looked me up and down before he chuckled, drawing my body closer to his own.

I tense at the sudden contact of him – never wanting him to be this close in proximity to me.

"It is fleetingly satisfying," Aidan murmured lowly to me.

I could feel his breath on my face, and I flinched when we met eye contact. I had nothing to attack him with other than my hands and legs, and I wasn't about to let him have an opportunity to plummet that syringe into my skin.

"To have you, once again..." He continued as he rose a hand up, and I watched it in apparent slow motion, my eyes widening.

Please, no --

No...No-!

This can't be the end...!

Please-!

"Back in my grasp," Aidan finished, his hand about to land on my cheek.

"Let go of stoner girl!" Yelled an obnoxiously, gruff voice that I had definitely heard somewhere before. I had heard that very same voice bully people in the hallways and buy weed off of Jonah every Friday after the football games.

I strained my head to look behind Aidan to find an army of high schoolers – the same ones that I had been abducted with. The ones that I was meant to save and bring home but wasn't able to do so. The ones that I had ultimately let down...

I should have been relieved by the sudden unexpected help...

Instead, I couldn't help but let out a cringe – what the hell do they expect to do-?

They were going to get themselves killed-!

"It appears as though the product still have a fighting spirit," Aidan mused lightly.

I had stilled at that comment – he wasn't nearly done with proving that he owned everything around him...including me. He had wanted me to see that it would be pointless to fight, since every outcome was guaranteed that I would lose.

He walked a few patient steps and stood behind me, eyeing them with distaste.

The high schoolers had been battered and bruised from the game they had played...and instantly lost. They never had a chance to win to begin with – Aidan's games are never meant to be won --
