Much like with Mina, Sero sat on the bed instead of the offered chair. He just knew that for every single one of them in the next room he was going to have to deal with this.
"Ok, how bad is it? I'm guessing something like 17 or 18." Sero says.
"You started with 15 and you are assuming you only gained 2-3 points? Why are you counting yourself so short? Are you still thinking you're not interesting enough?" Bakugou asks.
"Well Mina told us she's at 19, and there's absolutely no way I did better than her. She's awesome." Sero explains, nervously rubbing his neck with an awkward smile.
"Well, if she's awesome then you're fantastic because you did do better than her. By only one point, but still." Bakugou says. Sero's eyes widen in shock.
"20? I have 20 points?!" Sero asks, hoping he did that very basic math right.
"Yeah. 20. You have exceeded your own expectations. Congratulations." Bakugou says.
He wasn't going to tell Sero, but he was honestly one of the people he had the highest hopes for. He may not currently be in the top five, but Sero is one of the few that Bakugou currently wouldn't really mind being with. The only reason he is as low as he is is because he was one of the ones in the beginning that tried too hard. That's the reason all of his friends are as low as they are.
"I can't believe it. How am I so high? I haven't really been trying much since the first week." Sero says.
"I can't tell you that. If I tell you what you are doing right then you'll have an advantage over others, and that wouldn't be fair." Bakugou says. He flips the notebook to the next person's page. "Would you please tell Tsu that I need to speak with her now? I'd like to get this done in time for me to do an evening workout."
"Yeah. No problem." Sero says.
Bakugou actually had to wait for Tsu a bit. Apparently she had been outside for some reason. At least that's what he assumed since there was dirt on her clothes. Whatever the case was, it was the longest he had to wait for any of them this whole time.
"Sero said we're getting our points." Tsu says. Bakugou nods his head to confirm.
"You're doing well on the scale. You've gotten up to 22. Better than most." Bakugou says.
"Nice. Is that all or are we going to talk about anything else?" She asks.
"Well if you have no questions or concerns to address then that's it." Bakugou says.
"Ok. I'm going to go continue hunting for bugs." Tsu says before leaving.
"Tell Momo to come here on your way out, please." Bakugou calls after. He gets a very distant ok in response.
One thing he liked about Tsu was how straightforward and no nonsense she could be. She could joke around, and has been known to be a little playful, but when it comes to most things she goes at it with as much seriousness as is warranted. That's one reason she has scored so high compared to others. Bakugou was sure that if he had been able to pay more attention to her then she would have more points than she currently has, but to keep it fair he couldn't just give points on speculation. Though he was tempted to give her an extra point just for the speed she handled this conversation with.
Momo showed up not long after Tsu left. Much like Iida, she had been studying. At least that's what the reading glasses were telling him. He knows she only wears them if she is planning to look at small words for extended periods of time.
