Bakugou didn't even need to give the name on the last day, but to stay committed he did. It was now Jirou's turn. He felt good about today.
Jirou was one of those he would consider a friend. She was one of the few people that wasn't afraid to be blunt with him. She regularly calls him out on his bullshit, and he can respect that. Sure it pisses him off at the moment, but after he cools off and can think about what went on he can see what she had. For that reason he really values her as a friend.
"Miss Jirou says she is ready, mon ami." Aoyama pokes his head into the room to say.
"Thank you."
Bakugou slips on a jacket and checks his fit one more time. He was almost certain they would be going somewhere music related. One thing everyone knows about Jirou is that music is her greatest love. Whether it was her family's music store, or somewhere else, he was sure his outfit this time would be fitting. He was actually excited about this one.
"This is your last one for this quest. Are you relieved?" Aoyama asks.
"A bit, yeah. As fun as this has been, it has also been exhausting to leave every day without knowing where I would be going." Bakugou answers as he grabs his wallet and dorm key.
He leaves the room with Aoyama behind him and locks the door. The two head downstairs to see Jirou waiting in the commons. She was dressed much like he was. The only difference is while she wore a checkered skirt over black leggings he wore ripped up jeans. Other than that it was band tees and worn out sneakers.
"Looks like you have expectations this time." Jirou says.
"Well you can't tell me I'm wrong considering you're also dressed like this." Bakugou says.
"I don't know. I think that where we're going is going to surpass your expectations. Come on Blasty." Jirou says. She was already on her way to door.
Bakugou follows Jirou out of the dorms. On the way to the bus station she pulls out her phone and plugs her earphone jacks in so she can make a call. All he hears is her telling someone that she is on her way and to make sure things are ready. That really interested Bakugou. No one else had to call ahead to check on wherever their place was.
"Ok. We're good." Jirou says after she hangs up.
"Good." Bakugou says in response.
It doesn't take long for the bus to show up once they get to the stop. Bakugou and the driver greet each other as usual, and Bakugou finds his seat. Jirou quickly joins.
The ride was fairly quiet, which Bakugou expected since Jirou doesn't usually talk much. Every time he has hung out with her alone it has been quiet. Not completely silent. They'll both occasionally comment on something that happened, but other than that they do their own thing. A great friendship in their books. With the chaos that is their class they sometimes need to just chill. Something told Bakugou that they weren't going to be just chilling once they get off this bus though.
They get to the stop and immediately Jirou's whole demeanor changed. She looked exactly how Bakugou remembered her looking while they were practicing for the school festival. She had a huge smile on her face as she raced out of the bus. One thing was certain. This is definitely her favorite place.
Bakugou looks up at the sign on the building as he steps off of the bus. It was a music shop. So he was right about his guess. Her parent's music store.
"Come on!"
She grabs his hand and pulls as she runs inside. He stumbled a few steps, but manages to keep up. She yells something to her father about going to the back. Now that did surprise him. Why was she taking him to the back of the store? Isn't that place reserved for employees? He was sort of looking forward to looking at the product in the store. He specifically brought his wallet for that purpose.
