Points and Talks: Part 1

    Saturday, after talking with the teachers, Bakugou spent most of the day in his room. Those who were still at the dorms left him alone. They knew he was busy adding up all the tallies from their quests. Also they figured he deserved some alone time after doing more socializing in three weeks than he had done in almost a whole year.

    Sunday came and Bakugou decided to have one on one meetings with each of them. Some meetings went quick, while others not so much. He went in order of quests, starting with Sato to end with Jirou.

    Sato was nervous when he got the text from Bakugou to come up to his room. The door is already open when he gets there. Bakugou has a notebook in front of him as well. Bakugou beckons for him to come in and shut the door. Once inside Bakugou tells him to take a seat.

    "No need to worry. The first quest is over so I'm revealing scores." Bakugou explains.

    "Oh. That makes sense." Sato says. He nervously rubs his neck in embarrassment. "So how many points do I have?"

    "You actually made it to 29, which is the highest point so far. You've almost doubled the starting score." Bakugou explains.

    It makes sense. Sato hasn't been treating him much differently. He has talked to him a couple times during class since the quest as well. And made a batch of english muffins since he noticed Bakugou enjoyed the ones from his parents bakery.

    "Is there anything you'd like to say or ask before I move on to the next person?" Bakugou asks.

    "I'm surprised I've gotten that many points. I don't think I did anything point worthy." Sato says.

    "Just completing the quest properly gets you some points. The rest I'm not going to reveal to keep this whole thing fair." Bakugou says.

    "That makes sense." Sato says.

    "If that is all then could you go tell Uraraka to come up here. I'd like to get through these talks today." Bakugou says as he turns the notebook to a different page.

    "Uh. Sure." Sato says.

    He leaves Bakugou's room and heads downstairs. Uraraka was on the couch, engaged in a rather interesting conversation about different kinds of fish with Koda. Sato apologizes for interrupting them, and delivers Bakugou's summons for Uraraka. She thanks him, and then assures Koda that she will continue their conversation once she finishes up whatever Bakugou wanted her for.

    Much like with Sato, Bakugou has her take a seat. She sits down right where Sato had, and Bakugou reviews his notes on her. He explains that they are just going to address her score, and he will answer whatever questions she has.

    "Since you didn't even finish the first quest as intended, you have a very low score." Bakugou explains. "You started at 15, like everyone else, and your points haven't changed much. You have 17 points."

    "17? I have only gained two points in this whole month?"

    "Yeah. You lost some points, gained them back, didn't get the quest completion score, and honestly I also stopped watching you as closely after you literally admitted to not even doing this to date me. So 17." Bakugou explains.

    "I guess that makes sense. Not that my score really matters much. As long as I don't reach zero I'm here to learn from you." Uraraka says. Bakugou nods, agreeing with her. The rules did state that they can stay as long as they want unless they reach zero or drop out.

    "Well, I wish you the best of luck with the nerd. Please go get Iida for me now. He's next on the list."

    Uraraka leaves the room to go get Iida, who was in his room studying for their finals earlier than most. When he hears that Bakugou wanted to talk to him about the quest results he nods and thanks her. She then leaves him to go continue her conversation with Koda.

    Iida gets to Bakugou's room and knocks before entering, even though the door was already open for him. He takes his offered seat, thanking Bakugou for it. Then he waits for his classmate to speak.

    "I am going to assume you were doing some studying since that's what you have been doing for the past week, so I'll keep this brief." Bakugou says. "Your current score is 26 points."

    "26. 11 more points than the starting score. For a month that doesn't seem too bad." Iida says.

    "You are in the top five, so I would say it's excellent." Bakugou says. "Do you have any questions?"

    "Have you figured out the next quest? I would like to get started on planning for it if it is anything like our last one." Iida says.

    "I will announce the next quest to everyone after dinner tonight, and everyone will have until Saturday to think about it." Bakugou explains.

    "Very well. Would you like me to go get the next person for you?"

    "If you would. I need Mina next." Bakugou says.

    He didn't really need Iida to go get her. She was next door playing games with Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari. He could hear their game right now. He also heard Iida telling her that Bakugou wanted to speak with her.

   In seconds the bubbly pink girl was on his bed. Not the chair he prepared. No. His bed. He didn't really care. She always claims his bed any time his friends come to his room. But after having the other three sit in the offered chair, it was a bit shocking. It also meant he had to turn his desk chair around to face her.

    "So points, yeah? What's my score?" She asks in her very excitable tone.

    "Not going to lie to you. You're quite low compared to others. You had a very rough start, but you clawed your way up to a 19." Bakugou says.

    "Better than I expected. Honestly all of us in that room fully expects either be below starting score, or at best two points above." She admits.

    That actually surprises Bakugou. He expected her to be upset. In fact, he expected all of them to be upset since none of them are that high. But if they have those expectations then he doesn't have to worry.

    "Why do you look so surprised. We stay failing on every test. We've gotten used to low scores." Mina says.

    "Well when you put it like that... But don't you guys want to win? Well, I know you don't since you don't want to date, but what about the others?" Bakugou asks.

    "Of course it'd be nice to win, but none of us expect to. And if we lose that doesn't mean we'll stop being your friends. So relax. They won't be upset about their scores. Anyways, I have a Mario Kart game to get back to. Who's do you need, Babes? I'll go get them." She says.

    She barely gives him enough time to say Hagakure's name before she's out the door, but she definitely gave him something to think about while he waits for the invisible girl to show up. All of these reactions have been so different so far.

    At least when Hagakure showed up, she sat in the prepared chair. He found her page in the notebook and quickly reviewed his notes before addressing her.

    "You're doing pretty well. A respectable 20 points is your current score. Not the highest, but definitely not the lowest." He says.

    "Sweet! I'm glad I'm doing well." She says.

    "Do you have any questions you'd like to ask?" Bakugou asks.

    "Not really. I'm guessing you would like Sero next. You seem to be going in order of when we went on the quests." Bakugou nods and she gets off the chair to go next door.

    So far this is going good. He expected it to be very draining, but it hasn't been. Hopefully it continues this way.
