The drive in Ryan's car lasted about 20 minutes before finally they arrived at their destination.
Getting out of the driver's seat, he held the door open for Emma as she stepped down from the car.
"We're here."
She heard him say shutting the door behind her.
"Let's go." He took hold of her hand and led her inside.
From the looks of it, it was definitely an art gallery. The paintings hung high on the walls were mesmerizing as she stood lost in one.
Letting her curiosity run wild, Ryan walked a distance to speak to someone who later on went into the back, to what seemed like a storeroom.
"Why did I come again?" He heard from behind as he turned towards the direction of the voice.
"Well I had to pick up a package and I didn't want to come alone." He spoke in a somewhat serious manner.
"Wait what? Are you really serious right now?"
She folded her hands obviously pissed off.
"You know what? Just forget it. I need to go back..." Turning to go she suddenly halted.
"Wait! Don't leave yet."
He came closer wearing an amused smile.
"Did you actually believe that?"
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
"I mean... I was just joking." He let out a throaty chuckle as a frown slowly settled on her face and her eyes narrowed in on him.
Noticing this, he quickly cleared his throat before picking up where he left off.
"I'm sorry. It seems it was a bad one. But, do you really think I would steal you away from all the work you had going on, drive this long distance just so you could be a tag along?"
He gently nudged her.
"Come on, I mean... I have all of my other friends for that." He assured noticing she had loosened up a little bit. Well at least the frown was gone.
"Then why am I here Ryan?"
"Well." He took a step closer to her.
"I mean, I saw you looking stressed out and thought maybe you would appreciate a breather."
"I already had..."
"And... I could give you a proper tour of the city. If you're up for it." He quickly cut in.
"No." She answered almost immediately and turned to go when he briskly walked to her front and blocked her path.
"I still have that hour remember?" He gave her a 'you know' look.
Of course she tried to protest but he didn't budge one bit. After a moment of thinking she finally gave in.
"Ok. Ok ok but after the hour, straight to school."
"Of course. When my time's up, I don't care if we're on a ride in the park, I will carry you, jump to the ground, get in my car and drive back to school." He couldn't resist smiling as he spoke, his perfect white teeth finally making an appearance, his canines were a bit sharper and longer than others so he sometimes had that sexy vampire look.
Damn he was too good looking and also too close it would seem as Emma skilfully shifted backwards feeling her heart beat pick up it's pace and heat alongside colour rise up to her cheeks.
She flashed him an ok smile and began walking towards the door as he stayed back to collect a small package.
Immediately he turned, she gestured to a non-existent watch.
"Oh yeah." He suddenly realized stuffing his hands into his pockets, taking big strides towards her.

They visited some nice spots in the city starting with the amusement park of course as it really was a worthy attraction. She had seemed interested when he mentioned it in the car so why not start from there.
He later took her to get what she termed the best street food she had ever had.
Later on, they made a stop at the park where he showed her the lake that stretched quite a distance. There she watched the little duckies play around in the water.
After that they stopped for dinner at his favourite restaurant and a last spot to give the day a befitting end.
'Sunset Beach.'
It actually got its name from the spectacular sunsets that had occurred on the beach.
The hour was up a very long time ago but Emma was so engrossed that she didn't even notice and he wouldn't be as crazy to remind her... Of course.
They came just in time to watch the sun set.
After playing around in the water, he led her by the hand to the spot he deemed best to truly witness the sight.
"You know, the sunsets here are absolutely amazing. Simply to die for." He said sitting down next to her.
"Quite special if you think about it."
Her gaze was fixed on the floor... That's when she noticed... What? Oh shit.
She blinked as if to confirm what she saw.
It seems she was putting on the footwear Oliver had given to her without even realising it. She must've forgotten to take them off after trying them on this morning. They were just so damn comfortable and perfectly fine?
Playing in the water didn't do them any harm. She was really digging it. A perfect fit for someone as clumsy as herself it would seem.
The waves tossed and turned snapping her out of her daze as the sea slowly became calm and the sun started on it's path beneath the horizon.
Soon, the colours spread out filling the sky. The clouds present only enhanced the beauty of the unfolding artwork.
"Wow." She stared at the sky in awe of the sight.
"It seems you were right." The cool ocean breeze rustled through her hair as she spoke. Letting it toss about in the wind.
He turned, eyes fixed on her.
"About me having fun today. I do think I actually needed this."
She chuckled and spread her two hands behind as support as she leaned backwards, eyes to the sky wearing a bright, happy smile.
Unknown to her she had quite the audience as he continued staring at her. Her hair still freely playing along with the cool breeze.
He seemed lost in her or rather simply captivated. He knew he was beginning to stare but he didn't care.
That smile. It was so beautiful. He had seen it all year long but still couldn't get over it. And now, getting an upclose view of it made it even more special. More alluring.
"And also this spot it would seem."
She turned to meet his eyes.
"The sunset from here really seems different. Somewhat special."
She flashed a soft smile.
"So..." She spoke dusting the sand off her hands and shuffling closer.
"Aren't you going to tell me already?"
"Hmmm?"
"Come on... Spill it. Are you going to tell me how you found this 'special' spot or what?"
"Oh... It's not really important." He seemed hesitant bringing his focus back to the sea. It became completely calm as darkness slowly began to cast it's veil over them.
Thankfully, the stalls by the beach were just opening for business illuminating the entire area.
"No I really want to know." She added missing the spark that suddenly flickered in his eyes.
After a brief moment, he slowly parted his lips.
