She obviously was a little bit Very confused. Like why did Oliver actually give her such a collectible, his original pair all willingly as if he was supposed to?

A sharp gasp brought Emma out of her thoughts.

"I just saw the price of one, and then the original... All I can say is that I can buy my present house, yh the one I'm calling you from that my parents just recently finished paying off, our lovely abode you know what I'm taking about baby. I can buy it with that exact amount.

It costs so much more. And I'm here like why? I mean it's just footwear.

How'd he give it to you? Must've sent it in a cute little box right? Maybe with a letter???" She rose her eyebrows thrice giving Emma a very funny look while suddenly throwing popcorn into her mouth.

"No. Not at all... Wait what's?" Emma looked closer at the phone.

Rosie looked like she was watching a really interesting movie.
"Crazy chica. Do you always have popcorn nearby?"

"Yes of course. These days that you're away, I don't know when you'll call with some juicy gists. I've got to be always prepared. So come on already Em. Spill the details..." She responded growing impatient throwing even more popcorn into her mouth.

Emma chuckled before picking up from where she left off.

"They're not as juicy as you think though. He just invited me to a gallery showing yesterday because we're presently on the same team for a project. After a while my feet began to hurt so he noticed and asked me to wait for him by a roadside bench. A few minutes later, he came back with them. I asked because they obviously look expensive but he said it was no biggie. Quite cheap if I remember correctly. Which I do."

"Ahh now I'm wishing I was just as smart as you. I mean you've spent barely a year there and you're already receiving collectables." Rosie sighed.

"Shut up Rosie." Emma laughed heartily.

"And of course you're smart you silly girl." She teased as Rosie joined in the laughter.

"By the way, have you watched the recent episodes of 'All for You'?"

"No. Not really why? Anything interesting happen?" Emma rested her head backwards.

"Well a new guy came into the scene. It's crazy over there. It seems Rachel's going to have a hard time choosing between both of them."

"I should really make time to catch up later."

"Of course." Rosie gave her a thumbs up wearing a big bright smile.

"We should sleep now. I've got school tomorrow and so do you." Emma said in between yawns.

"Actually that's true. I didn't even notice the time." Rosie also yawned at her end.

"Goodnight Em. We'll talk later ok?"

"Definitely."

"Good luck on your project."

"Thanks Rosie. Goodnight. Sweet dreams."

"You too Em."

The call ended and she switched off her phone dropping it on the side table.

Turning in bed, she wondered why Oliver would give it to her. Wasn't it his? Surely he could've gotten any random one for her and it would've done the job perfectly.

A notification suddenly appeared on her phone interrupting her train of thoughts as she picked it up.

Ryan had sent the pictures.

"Beautiful."

Putting the phone aside she laid her head on the pillow and slowly succumbed to sleep.

I'm so sorry if this chapter is too long. I started editing it and it somehow ended up this way😅😅😅. I couldn't separate it cause you know... Yh😌🤣
