"Of course silly. Shouldn't I be?" She replied with a smile plating the dish she had been preparing.
"Here." She placed it gently in front of Emma with a smile.
"Just how you like it."
"Wha-" Emma looked down at the dish before her. It really was how she liked it.
"But-"
"How?" Eden chipped in.
"Well I'm just glad your mum runs a cooking show and loves to talk about her favorite daughter." She chuckled.
"I'm her only daughter." Emma snorted jokingly then turned suspiciously at the food before glancing back at Eden.
"Of course it's safe to eat." She replied exasperated as though she read her thoughts.
"I didn't say anything." Emma added laughing.
Taking hold of her fork, she dug in and was clearly surprised that...
"I-It actually tastes good."
"Of course it does. Why wouldn't it?" Eden said laughing.
"I mean. I'm not just pretty, rich and fabulous. I'm also a good cook."
Emma resisted the urge to roll her eyes all the way to the back of her head.
"You must want to roll your eyes at all I've said right?" Eden added
"It's ok." She sat down next to her.
"I know. I get that a lot. I mean from all my friends. They're the worst but..."
"But you had no other friends?" Emma added solemnly gently placing her hand on Eden's.
"Yh." She said barely in a whisper.
"The only true friend I had... Um I-I pushed her away. Far away."
"Not that far away."
"Hmmm?" Eden looked up to Emma.
"I'm sure 'Tasha will understand if you tell her all these." She gave a soft reassuring smile.
"Okay. First thing tomorrow morning."
Emma rubbed her hand before returning to her meal while Eden watched her.
"You know what!?" Eden stood up abruptly.
"I'm done!" She said before walking into her room.
This obviously came as a shock to Emma who was trying to do the dishes.
"Okayyy" She returned to what she was busy with but later shifted her attention to Eden who had finally come out with a gorgeous black dress in one hand and designer shoes in the other raising both eyebrows at Emma with a sly smile.
"Eden... What's happening?"
"Come in." She gestured to her room hoping Emma would follow after.
Thankfully she did.
It was truly expected of the fox dorm.
....
"Ta-da." Eden presented her room.
"Styled by yours truly." She said with a smile.
"Now here. Take this." She shoved the clothes to Emma.
"Why? You've been acting really strange since you woke up. Are you ok? It seems like the cold hasn't worn off."
"I'm ok. Actually I called the boys and scheduled a meeting." She said happily.
"Well not really a meeting. Get dressed."
"I thought you had a 'very important event' this evening." Emma air quoting that part.
"Hmm." She shifted her gaze to the floor then back to Emma after she looked very deep in thought.
"Well not anymore it would seem. I made a reservation at Palace of Glass for the four of us. I mean it wouldn't be so bad to have an outing as a group now would it? "
"No. It wouldn't."
Emma quickly got dressed looking amazing in the dress as it snug closely to her body revealing her perfect features.
She was surprised to see Eden dressed in a shirt and pants?
"Aren't you going to change?" Eden asked walking towards Eden who was wearing a white t shirt and black jeans. Her hair in a messy bun and no makeup on.
"No. This is actually my look for tonight."
Emma rose a brow at her obviously questioning what she heard.
"You've got to be kidding me. You. Eden Grace. Wearing casual or at least something that isn't brand name. Porpostrous.
"I mean. First time for everything you know." She turned to showcase her look.
"I mean you dressed like this for the better part of the school year and obviously have a much better life than mine."
"Abit." Emma added jokingly.
"Now sit." She drew out a chair in front of the mirror. "Let me work my magic."
