Emma entered the room wearing a  bright smile but it soon vanished as she met Natasha looking all worried and stressed out.

"What's wrong Tasha?" She hurriedly sat next to her worried at her state.

"Did something bad happen?"

Looking at Emma for a short moment, she asked in a very worried tone.

"Why are you coming back this late Emma? I've been worried sick."

Emma glanced at her phone and was surprised at the time.

8:00pm. A lot of time had gone by but she didn't notice.

"Wow. I'm really sorry for making you worry. The time literally flew right by."

"Where were you up till now?" Natasha asked now sounding a little less worried.

"I attended a showing at an art gallery earlier today." Emma replied headed for her room.

"You know for the group project?
Today was actually a good day. I had a bit of fun to say the least."

"At least one of us did." Natasha commented falling down flat on the couch feeling much relieved.

"Our group just did a bunch of research. We went through so many books today." She reached for the tv remote and switched it on.

"It was sooo boring."

As soon as Emma opened the door to enter her room, Summer came in with a bowl of popcorn in one hand and a soda in the other. It looked like she and Natasha were getting ready to watch a movie.

"Oh hey Emma." Summer shook the drink in her hand towards her direction as a wave in the same time gently kicking the door shut.

"Hello Summer." Emma replied absentmindedly entering her room.

Changing into her nightwear she fell on her bed ready to catch some zzz when her phone dinged. It was Oliver, he sent the pictures they took at the gallery, amusement park and the beach.

Immediately she saw the pictures, she got a call from Rosie.

"Hey Rosie."

"Oh hello Emma, how're you doing."

"Alright. Today was crazy tho but like, in a good way, and school has been hectic, but the good news is school's almost over, so I'll be back for the holidays sooner than you know it." She squealed happily then sighed.

"I can't wait to be back home."

"Me too, Em. I'm so excited. I already have everything all planned out." Rosie replied with the same level of excitement, if not higher.

"By the way, Joan has been begging to talk to you -"

Emma heard a tiny voice from the other end.

"Emma. Hello, it's your little cutie, Joan here." She said excitedly over the phone.

"Hey Joan. I missed you soooooo muchhhh."

Rosie allowed them to talk for a short while before she took the phone from her little sister and set her on her way to bed.

"Hey, I gotta go put Joan to bed ok, ttyl?"

"Sure thing, bye, Rosie. Goodnight."

"Night, Emma."

A moment after the call ended, Emma got another from someone she was getting to know a little too well.

"Hello. Emma. Have you seen the pictures I sent?"

"Yes, I have. They're really amazing. And beautiful. Just breathtaking. I love them, and the sunset was amazing. To die for. I mean, the fact that you could capture it on camera is a talent." She giggled while speaking.

"How about the ones we took together. They weren't too bad, right?"

"Right. They actually weren't. They looked really, really nice. I mean, you made a non photogenic person like yours truly, look very good, so I would say you did a spot on job there."

She turned on her bed to face the ceiling, playing with her pillow, legs in the air like your usual teenage girl talking to her crush.

"Hey, I gotta go to bed now. See you tomorrow, right?" There was joy and excitement laced in her voice, but she hoped it wasn't obvious.

Was she really that happy at the thought of seeing him the next day. Or rather, was she anticipating it? Maybe even a bit more than she would like to admit.

"Right. Tomorrow. Can't wait."
