Eden brought out a makeup set and got to work on Emma's face. After a while, she was finally done and allowed her muse assess her look in the mirror.
"Wow." Eden turned slightly to get a better look. "I really never thought I could look like this." She chuckled standing up and facing Eden.
"Thank you so much." She said with a smile.
"Pleasure is all mine. My little duckling." She courtsied before they both burst into laughter.
"Are you sure the well renowned Eden Grace wants to go out wearing a shirt and jeans carrying what may evolve to a bird's nest on her head?" Emma asked assessing the complete look in a full body mirror.
"Very." Eden replied getting the flash drive. "Let's go."
Emma strut out of the room followed by Eden who closed the door after her.
"Oh! My clothes." Emma suddenly remembered.
"No need to worry. I'll have them delivered to your room first thing in the morning. Trust me." She reassured her.
About to open the front door, Emma paused suddenly.
"Emma... I know it maybe kinda clear but I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry. For everything. I'm sure this wasn't your best year here and I haven't been very nice to you as a person and partner."
Emma let out a breath of ais before turning and gently taking Eden's hand. A soft look on her face.
"You haven't been nice at all." She chuckled.
"Hey. I'm apologizing here. It's not funny." Eden whined jokingly.
"Ok. Ok go on."
"I hope you can forgive me and maybe if you're up for it... We could be friends..." She waited for a response and didn't realize she was holding her breath.
Emma wore quite a serious expression that Eden thought she was going to reject but then drew her in for a hug.
"Of course I forgive you. And yes. Let's be friends."
She felt so relieved hearing those words out of Emma's mouth as she enjoyed the moment.
A friend huh.
Letting go, she realized she was almost crying.
"Wow. Tears." She joked looking to the ceiling in an attempt to drive the back.
"How about a selfie Eden. To remember this moment?" Emma brought her phone forward.
"Of course...and it's Grace."
"Huh?"
"Call me Grace. I mean I thought about it and it's not so bad a name. It didn't sound so bad when you used to say it, just to piss me off." She chuckled lightly and was joined in by Emma.
"Oh the good old days. I'll miss them." She added playfully while getting that perfect angle to take the picture.
"Say Cheese."

Minutes later, they arrived at the Palace of Glass where Oliver and Ryan were already waiting for them. Dressed formally of course as was the instruction in the text Eden sent.
Getting out of the car, they were both awestruck by Emma.
Upon reaching them.
Eden stood by her side with jazz hand presenting her to the guys.
"My hard work tonight guys." She joked as they both couldn't tear their eyes away.
... comment comment....fine Emma etc...
By the way, Ryan shifted his focus to Eden who looking a bit more casual than casual itself.
"Why do you look like that when you told us to dress up."
"No reason." She teased flashing her tongue at him in a quite playful manner.
Oliver noticed this from his side view and smiled softly.
"Grace was finally back to being Grace." He thought.
It had been so long since he saw her smile so sincerely and joke around. He doesn't know what happened between both of them but he was hella thankful. It was about time for her to make an appearance.
"Shall we go in?" Emma's voice brought him out of his thoughts.
"Of course." Oliver opened the door and held it for them to go in.
Inside was amazing.... Write and write....
"No wonder it's called 'Palace of Glass.'" Emma thought walking over to the table they were being shown to.
"This place seems really exclusive. I wonder who made the reservation." Emma said gently sitting down.
"That would be Oliver her." Eden replied gesturing to him.
"He gave me this reservation some days ago saying he wasn't going to use it and didn't want it to go to waste since I absolutely love this place, I took it."
"Really?" Emma nodded.
.......
All the while, someone had been trying to call Oliver repeatedly but it wasn't going through. He had put his phone on silent for the night.
"Oli?" She began to leave a voicemail walking into a restaurant.
"The shoot was cancelled. I somehow managed that so I could make our anniversary today. I'm literally-"
She paused holding her phone to her ear as she sighted a group of people in their usual table talking and laughing.
"Oh- sorry about this but something just came up and I won't be able to make it. Ummm yh have a goodnight bye." She cut the call as tears threatened to fall but she wouldn't let them.
Giving a heavy sigh, she turned and walked out the restaurant.
"Guess I'll just be home alone tonight."
