Enid stood silently in the living room of her house, biting down on her bottom lip. She tried so hard to stop the tears in her eyes from falling, she didn't want the be screamed at more. "Stop looking over there, fucking look at me!" her mother screamed. "I am..-" she choked out, her voice cracking. She clasped her hands together and made sure her mother could see her eyes directly looking into hers. "Bullshit! You were looking over at what, the wall?! When I am talking to you, you fucking look at me!" The wolf couldn't move, she felt paralyzed, stuck to the ground. She held her breath so maybe the tears wouldn't fall from her eyes.

Enid's mother continued to scream. "You broke it on purpose, didn't you?!" Her mother looked like when was going to pop a blood vessel. "No, I-" Enid felt the first few tears fall and now she knew she was done for. Enid mom stood there for a moment, blinking before she laughed. "Oh, so now we're crying?? We're crying like a fucking baby?! Over something, you. did." The last two words were emphasized, it made it feel like she was being pushed and shoved by just words. "It was an accident-! I swear!" Enid said in a panic, her voice cracking terribly as the tears began to fall. "Bull-fucking-shit! No, you know what? Since you want to cry, how bout I give you something to cry about??" Enids mother began walking up to her, her face basically a tomato.

Enid felt like she was about to crumble, crumble and fall apart like dry dirt. She immediately brought her hands to her eyes and began wiping her tears away. "No, no! No need!! See, I'm no crying, I'm sorry!" She said through sniffs. Enids mother stopped in her tracks, her fists clenched. "You clean up the broken glass and dried candle wax by noon or I'm going to beat. your. ass." Her mother said harshly. Enid nodded immediately, biting down on her lip so hard she swore she drew blood. Mother stared at her for a moment before storming off, leaving Enid standing there, alone, face sticky with tears, blood running down her chin.

Enid gasped for air, not only had she been holding her breath but she couldn't breathe in the first place. This gasp for air immediately set her tears into motion. Though she couldn't cry loudly without being heard, she still cried. Enid stood there for a few moments longer before snapping out of her trance and immediately getting what she needed to clean the glass and wax off the floor. Two hours. The wolf had stood there for two hours being screamed at because she accidentally broke a plug in candle thing. The wax was on top and under it was a candle which melted the wax. She knocked it out well cleaning something and it shattered, glass and wax everywhere.

It had been about 15-20 minutes and Enid was still cleaning and scrapping wax off the floor. The girl couldn't stop crying, the floor had small wet spots from her tears. Everytime one of her siblings would offer to help their mother would start screaming again. So, they all stopped. That though did not stop them from giving her things, water, snacks, ect. They tried their best to help her, even brought down her two favorite stuffed animals. The hello kitty one that Wednesday had gotten her for Christmas, and the one Yoko gave her for her last birthday. For emotional support, she assumed.

Well cleaning Enid had her sleeves rolled up. To the girls unlucky fortune she had apparently not cleaned up all the glass. Though they were chunky and rather big for glass chunks she had missed one. Finding it in one of the worst ways she possibly could have. As Enid slid her arm down to scrape the wax she felt a very sharp, very painful, and very long lasting pain slide down her arm. A long gash, bleeding immediately run down her arm. From a simple piece of glass.

The pain completely distracted her from her thoughts, from the distress she was in, and more. "Dammit!" She muttered to herself. She grabbed the piece of glass and tossed it in the garbage next to her with the rest before getting up and going to find a first aid kit, or something to stop this bleeding. Well searching Enid realized she didn't even want to stop the bleeding. She wanted to increase it, the pain took her mind off everything else. Enid stood for a second, shocked at her own thoughts. Though those thoughts now flood her mind she bandaged her arm and went back to cleaning.

Enid now sat on her bed, the soles of her feet, her knees, and hands terribly sore. Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea. Enid got up carefully and walked to her door. She stood there a moment making sure nobody was out there before locking her door. The wolf immediately went back over to her bed and grabbed her phone. She immediately turned it on, unlocked it, and went to her messages.

My dearest

Enid

Delivered, 5:46PM

She knew Wednesday wouldn't answer, she was either writing or sleeping as of right now. So the wolf put down her phone and extended her claws.
