The bright girl woke up, her eyes sore and blurry and her head and back aching she groaned in pain as she tried to get up. As she curled her legs and set her hands down to the floor she felt the cold ground, she wasn't anywhere familiar. The ground was cold, like cement.

Catching her off guard Enid fully opened her eyes, letting them adjust to the darkness of the room. She glanced around. She wasn't home like she thought she was, she didn't know where he was.

"Wednesday..?" She called out quietly.

There was no response back, just silence. The aching of her head was getting to her. Enid attempted to bring her hands up to her face only to stop a few seconds later when she felt a tug on her wrists.

The bright girl looked down, a new wave of anxiety filling her as she realized she was being restrained to the wall behind her. All she could think about was if Wednesday was okay, she didn't care to think of herself, or this situation.

The last thing she could remember was walking the raven girl home from the park around 8pm yet she couldn't remember anything after that. She couldn't remember if they even made it to the girls house, what if something bad had happened to Wednesday?

Enid sat silently, thinking through the things she could do, maybe there would be a way out of this.

"Hello?.." Somebody called out quietly.

"Hello?.. Is anybody there? Where am i?" They called again

Enid immediately looked up, her eyes darting to the direction of the room the voice came from.

"Wednesday?! Wednesday, are you okay?" Enid felt her heart race even faster, how could she have let this happen.

"Enid?" Wednesday's voice broke.

"Enid where are we?" She cried.

Enid couldn't stand hearing Wednesday cry but she didn't know what to do, or say. She didn't know where they were or what had happened.

"I-" She started.

"I don't know Wen, I don't know where we are, I don't know what happened but just try to breathe, I'll try to figure this out, okay?" Enid wanted to sound hopeful for the raven girl across the room but in this situation, how could either of them be hopeful?

When Enid was met with silence she grew even more worried, the situation was already bad.

The lights flickered on and Enis felt her body go limp as she stared at the dark girl chained up across the room, a desperate look in her eyes, tears streaming down her face.

"Enid." Wednesday stared at the boy from across the room, her voice limp.

Enid felt tears form in her eyes, out of everything she could've been worried about, could've been sad about, could've cried about, she chose her, she chose her best friend, the girl he loved. In her mind, she got them into this mess, she let Wednesday get hurt, they were in this mess because of Enid.

"Enid please, I'm scared, please!" She cried.

"It's okay, it's okay, I'm gonna get us out of this, I swear I will" Enid felt the tears fall from her eyes, her voice cracking as she spoke.

"I'm gonna get us out of this, I swear I will" a voice mocked as they walked out into the light.

Enid froze, she swore she recognised that voice yet she could've been imagining things.

"Who are you?! What do you want from us, why are you doing this?!" Enid shouted through tears.

The man stood next to Wednesday, his hand on the girls head. "And why would I tell you that, Enid?" He spoke.

"I'll give you anything, please, what do you want from us, from me, please!" Enid begged.

The man reached behind him and grabbed something from his pocket. As Enid watched he felt his body go numb, her face drained of color watching the man pull out a gun.

Wednesday glanced at the man, looking at the gun in his hand, tears streaming down her face harder as she sobbed.

"Please, please don't hurt me! Please I'm sorry for anything I did!" She cried out.

Wednesday continued to sob, begging for her life, coughing from how hard she was crying. The sobbing got worse as Wednesday felt the cold metal against the side of her head.

"Enid! Enid please I don't wanna die, please! Enid please don't let him kill me, I don't wanna!" She sobbed out, tugging and pull at her restraints, shaking her head from side to side trying to get the gun away.

Enid felt paralyzed, she couldn't move, all she could do was sit there on the floor limp and crying.

"Don't hurt her, please! I'll do anything, kill me, take my life just don't hurt her!" Enid cried out.

"Please, I can't do this without her, I'll do anything you want, just tell me what you want!" She shouted through tears.

The masked man grabbed the dark girls head harshly, stopping the aggressive movements and cocking the gun.

"Who said I wanted anything from you? Maybe I just want to see you suffer, Ms. Sinclair."

With that, the sound of a gunshot echoed throughout the room. Blood splattered on the floor as Wednesdays head fell and her body went limp.

"No.."

"No. No, no, no!" Enid screamed through her sobs, tugging and pulling as hard as possible on her restraints.

"Wen! Wen please, you're not actually dead, please!" She sobbed, her eyes blurry with tears.

The man unchained the limp girls body watching as she fall to the ground, blood beginning to pool on the cold ground.

"How pathetic." He spat as he kicked the dead girls body.

The man made his way to Enid, pointing the gun at her. Enis sat there sobbing, ignoring the man in front of her.

"I'm going to unchain you, the police are already on there way. By the time they get here I'll be gone. Try to hit me or hurt me and you're family will be next Ms. Sinclair." The man knelt down, unchaining Enid from the wall.

As fast as the restraints were off was as fast as Enid pushed herself up and ran toward the dead girl on the ground. She immediately dropped to her knees scooping Wednesdays body into her lap.

"Please, Wen please wake up!" She sobbed, gasping for air as she grasped onto the girls shirt.

"Please! Please Wen I can't do this without you, please!" She begged as she shook the girls lifeless body.

After begging, screaming and sobbing the bright girl was exhausted, she layed her head on the girls black shirt and sobbed, grasping onto her for dear life.

"I love you Wen, I love you so much." She sobbed into the girls shirt.
