I lay, silent. Just as Wednesday does. Silent environment, something I hate. Silence isn't nice; silence is terrible, deafening. "Wen?" I asked quietly, though loud enough for her to hear. I could hear the springs of her bed creak as she turned in her bed. "Yes cucciola?" She asked, a tiredness filling her voice. I lay debating for a moment, did I really want to ask? "Sinclair?" Her voice slightly raspy, tired. I took a deep breath. 'Communication is key' I thought to myself. "Could I play music, quiet music?" I asked, my words severely rushed. "Place your phone on the stand, turn the volume up." She said quietly.

I lay there not moving a muscle for a moment. I had fully expected her to say no, maybe it was just my over thinking. "You wanna listen?" I asked. The springs in Wednesday's bed could be heard as she moved, like she had sat up. "Mhmm" she hummed. "Just not those annoying pop songs." Disgust filling her voice. "Okay, ouch" I laughed. "I'll play one of my favorite playlists!" I couldn't help but let my excitement flow through my words. Wednesday's silhouette, almost making me uneasy as I watch her lay back down. "Never be afraid to ask." She said aloud. I smiled to myself as I set my phone on the stand, Romantic Homicide beginning to play. "I love you, Sinclair" Wednesday said calmly, before turning her back to me and falling asleep.

"I love you too, Miss Addams."
