Saying the ride back to Nevermore was odd would be an understatement. Wednesday herself had no problem with her girlfriend being in headspace, she just wasn't sure how to handle it. Enid never forced the Raven to take care of her in this state, she was aware the Raven wasn't good at handling complex emotions or topics such as this, so the wolf left it up to Wednesday to decide when and if she wanted to take care of her.

The two were sat quietly in the back of the Addam's car, low music playing to cut through it.

"Nes" Enid mumbled, holding one of her smaller stuffed animals to her chest. The wolf was staring out the window to distract herself from the stinging pain on her body. "Hm?" The Raven let her eyes lock onto the bright girls figure as she sat next to her.

"Do you think-.." The girl trailed off, unable to come up with the right words. "Yes, I do think" Wednesday said in return. Enid felt a small smile creep onto her face, she knew the Raven had taken it rather literally because she hadn't finished her sentence.

"No you dummy-" The wolf let out a small, gentle laugh. Regardless of how she felt, the Raven always seemed to ease her mind; with or without trying. Wednesday stared at the girl next to her, even if she wouldn't admit it, she adored her laugh. It was one of the things that seemed to brighten the hole of darkness she calls her life. Even if she was confused as to why the Wolf was laughing, she didn't question it.

The Wolf sighed a little, that everlasting feeling of dread washing over her again. Did she really deserve this? Was her mom right? This didn't feel right, why was she so happy with this girl? She loved her, but did she deserve to even have that love, that happiness?

Wednesday noticed the subtle shift in the girls mood again, she wasn't sure how to help her. Bringing her back to Nevermore, back to the dorm was all she thought she could do to help. With a small move Enid shifted positions and leaned her head on the Raven's shoulder gently.

The girl stiffened slightly, flicking her eyes down to the girls head that lay on her shoulder. She closed her eyes and took a breath, pushing her discomfort to touch to the back of her mind, there were bigger problems to worry about.

"Do you think my mom was right?" Enid asked quietly, staring off ahead of them. The question caught Wednesday off guard, "What?"

"That I can't do anything right."
"Is it true?"
"Was she right?"

There was silence in the car for a minute or two, the Raven trying to formulate the correct response to this. She knew the answer, Enid's mother was wrong. Her girlfriend was good at lots of things and even if she messed up sometimes, as someone does, it didn't mean she couldn't do anything right. How was she supposed to communicate that.

"Conversion Therapy." Wednesday said simply.

That made Enid sit up a little, looking over at the dark girl. "What?"

The Raven looked back at her, "was she right then?" She wasn't sure if this was helping or if this was even a good way to comfort her. She didn't know how to deal with these things.
