The Chief of Ogres watched in terror at the Majin in front of him, taking care to dodge the attacks of black flames that came towards him. There was no pattern to the attack, the boy had just randomly turned his spells into attacks and unleashed them on them, and as much as it was like that, they were now against the ropes now.

The Boss of Ogres wasn't sure how strong his attacks were, but he wasn't willing to try it at all. Even though he couldn't feel any heat coming from the flames, his instincts told him that if he was touched by those flames he would be dead.

That was how dangerous the majin named Rimuru had become, and he would deliver these attacks with the bored look of a child who has grown tired of his toys.

Dodging several flames that came towards him, the Boss of the Ogres moved between a group of lightning that trembled through the air and picked up the General's body that was lying on the ground. The beams, as if responding to his presence, chased after him, but using the {Instant Step}, the Boss of Ogres managed to dodge the attack.

The tree that got in the way of lightning, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky and had its trunk blown into pieces.

After all, what is it?! I still don't feel like he's serious!!!

The Chief of Ogres thought about this while looking at Rimuru, who absently yawned and without even looking, stomped on the ground very hard. The ground in the area shook and a mound of earth rose in front of Rimuru, just before that earth turned into scorching lava and rushed towards the Boss of Ogres again.

Seeing what could only be described as a wave of lava, the Chief of Ogres decided that he should meet the attack head-on rather than flee.

Throwing the General's body to a secluded spot behind him, the Boss grabbed his katana and he swung it against the wave of lava, the katana covered in his aura. A huge flash of light flew across the battlefield just before the wave of lava split in two, each passing on one side of the Boss.

"Don't underestimate us that much!!!"

The Chief of Ogres said this with a defiant smile on his face, but even he knew how to recognize the bitter taste of defeat. All he could do, in a situation like this, was to try his best to improve Rimuru's image of ogres and not give up, for all the pride he had in the past and that he wants to continue to have in the future.

Still, only a second passed before the Chief of Ogres understood that nothing had gone the way he wanted it to.

Everything was Rimuru's plan from the beginning.

"I would never underestimate an ogre. But I don't overestimate him."

Rimuru muttered this and launched the ball of black flames towards the Chief of Ogres, who had no way of dodging it. He hadn't realized it, but the ground on either side of him had been covered in lava for several meters, more than he could have jumped to escape, not that he could have escaped in the first place.

After all, if he moved out of the way, the General, who was totally unconscious, would be engulfed in the black flames and would likely die.

That was why the Chief of Ogres looked with terror at that attack which he could not dodge.

***

The Priestess dodged the strange object that was coming towards her, which appeared to be some kind of chariot made of metal, with four wheels and no horses, and positioned herself again, with the next art already ready to be launched. Before she could, however, the same object appeared again from a different direction, and she was forced to swerve again.

In short, she couldn't attack due to the strange carriages that kept appearing out of nowhere from everywhere.

"So despite being an excellent mage, you're not used to attacking while dodging? Should I be impressed? Or is it Rimuru's crazy training that's wrong with this story? Mages are rearguards, after all."
