Ogres and goblins smiled at each other as they talked about the battle that had just taken place. Some of the goblins listened intently as the ogres corrected their mistakes in battle, the lack of technique born of inexperience, while some of the ogres admired how the weapons the goblins carried were well made, and perfect for their abilities.

Yes. The battle was over, and immediately after the defeat of the ogres, most of them are now friendly with my goblin subordinates.

Of course, the goblins constantly rescuing the ogres in battle and having healed all of the ogres' wounds helped a lot to bring the two groups together, an expenditure of healing potions that is totally within the acceptable range.

By the time we returned to the camp, we were waiting for the goblins who had been at the rear during the entire battle, who had only been dedicated to tending to the wounded, to break the camp. Once everything was ready, our group would head towards Vila dos Ogres, my new territories, and we would have the victory party there, along with the other ogres.

Why? To help consolidate my "reign" in front of all the ogres, I couldn't accept anyone doubting our victory. So where better to celebrate victory than in the enemy capital?

Sure, it was a little disrespectful, but it was the best way to show the other ogres, the ones left behind, that the ones who fought really lost that fight and that the ogres' territory now belongs to me. If they don't want me, a slime, as their leader, then they can just move, I can't force anyone to become my subordinate, but I will keep forcibly expanding my territory until I take the whole forest.

Anyone who doesn't want me will just have to leave Jura and live alone in the outside world. After all, it's not like doing this is impossible.

"Hey, hey, why the face, Boss? You won! Get a little happy!!"

The Boss of the Ogres, or the old Boss, said this as he slapped me on the back, a cheerful smile typical of airhead people on his face. Yes, he is strong, the type who is so strong that, despite being in an important position, he does not understand anything about how politics really works, nor how complicated the territory planning is that I will have to do as soon as we finish the party.

Still, he wasn't exactly wrong. We won. There's no reason for me not to be happy.

"You're right! I'm happy. But I'll be even happier when we get to Ogre Village, and when I really consolidate my leadership in front of everyone."

"Well, sure, but let's not rush things. For now, let's just enjoy the moment, Boss. Why don't you spend this time before the party with your family?"

After saying that, the Former Chief of Ogres walked away without looking back. Looking closely, he had gone towards where a group of other ogres were, which included the Chief Priestess, who was a pink ogre, and the Ex-Chief's wife, and her two children, apparently. Her eldest son was red in color, just like the chief, while her youngest daughter, a very cute ogress, had inherited her mother's pink coloring.

Family, huh...?

Yes... Come to think of it, do I have a "family" in this world? Although I don't exactly "miss" my old family, which I had in my old world, maybe because our relationship was never the best, I'm still a little curious about it. Can I have a family in this world? I already planned to build a harem, I don't think it's a problem to consider it a family... is it?

"Did you know that your perverted thoughts show on your face?"

And there you have it, the most petulant person in the world.

"Well, at least I don't have to keep those thoughts to myself since you know them just by looking at me."

I muttered that in response, and Tsuki-chan nodded as if she agreed with what I said.
