It wasn't until Damian opened the door that I realised I had been holding my breath. Damian had got changed as well, if you can call it that. He had stripped off and changed into dark grey sweatpants and no top. I exhaled a little too hard and a little loud. "You ok there Mija? I can put a top on if you want me too, didn't mean to make you fluster? Thought it would be easier this way for taking my measurements."

"I'm not flustered, I'm ok. But yeah good thinking, it will make it easier when I measure your chest and arms." I walked in and noticed that there was an open bottle of champagne on the coffee table in a bucket of ice and 2 glasses. Damian's room had the 2 armchairs and table by the window the same as mine. "I'm sorry, I can leave if you are expecting someone else?" Damian looked at me perplexed, before looking at where I was pointing.

"No, those are for us. I asked them to send a bottle and 2 glasses up so that we can relax while we do the measurements and we can just have a chat and unwind. Nothing else in it, I promise. I just thought that you could do with some relaxation as well as working. You don't mind do you?"

"No, I'm flattered actually. Shall we pour and then get to work?" Damian eagerly nodded and proceeded to pour us a glass of wine each while I opened up my folder on the dresser. I felt him walk up behind me and lean down slightly to place his head on my shoulder as he looked at the designs laid out in front of us. He had a glass in each hand and reached his right hand around me to put a glass in my left hand. I felt my breath catch in my chest as he inadvertently embraced me.

"You really are talented Soph. Have you really drawn some of these with me in mind? I love the way that you have incorporated the drips onto the pants and made sure that there is some aspect of Puerto Rico in each one." I smiled as he moved his head off of my shoulder and stepped to my side and examined the drawings one by one. We settled on a design and sat too discuss any elements of it that he would like to change. Thankfully there wasn't too many, certainly seems as though I was the one able to make him happy. With his ring gear, of course.

We finished our first glass of Champagne and Damian went to pour us a second glass. "Thanks but would you mind if I got your measurements first. I don't fancy trying to get your inside leg whilst drunk." I winked, feeling a little braver than I would have done 2 glasses of alcohol earlier.

"Go on then Mija, what is it that you need me to do for you?" Damian looked deep into my eyes and continued. "Just tell me what it is that you need me to do for you?"

My heart fluttered and I felt suddenly warm and I don't think that alcohol was the only thing to blame. "Can you just stand up for me, legs slightly apart and arms out like a jumping jack? It will only take me a few minutes." Damian nodded and did as I asked. I measured his arms and chest, taking a little longer than I should have. Also when I was taking his chest measurement I couldn't help but press myself against him a little harder than was necessary. Finally we got to his inside leg, I knelt down and measured but made the mistake of glancing up and locking eyes with him looking down at me.

Damian reached down and stroked my cheek with his hand. "You look pretty on your knees looking up at me like that Mija." I felt my cheeks blush and quickly averted my gaze. I knew I fancied him and I knew it was never going to happen but I could at least have fun and enjoy myself. Maybe that was exactly what I needed to get over Dylan once and for all. I measured his inside leg again, just to make sure, before making my way to my feet. As I stood up facing Damian I felt rooted to the spot. I wasn't sure as to whether or not it was a case of couldn't move or didn't want too.

Our eyes were locked and I could feel the intensity growing between us. Damian put his hand to my cheek again and I instinctively closed my eyes and nestled against him. Something about him just felt safe. Before I knew it I had opened my eyes and moved closer to Damian's lips. He didn't pull away. In fact he did the complete opposite and leant in closer to me. Our lips met and it felt just felt right. It wasn't a long or passionate kiss but it was enough to let us know that we liked each other.

We pulled away and I panicked. "I am so sorry Damian, that was really unprofessional of me. I'm just going to go. I really am sorry." I turned to leave but before I had chance Damian had grabbed my arm forcefully yet gently with his hand.

"Don't be sorry. I'm not." Next thing I know we were embracing each other and our lips were connecting again. This time with passion and urgency. I had never felt this passion before, with anyone. I didn't want it to stop.

DAMIAN'S POV

I meant what I said to her, I wasn't sorry that I kissed her. If anything I was sorry that I hadn't done it sooner. It was taking all of my energy not to hold her closer and not let her go. I had meant everything I had said to her, not just now but all day. I had noticed the black eyes, but that was only because I constantly watched her. I spoke to Rhea a few times about Sophie but she always warned me off of her saying she had issues that needed resolving before I got close to her. Rhea basically told me to stay the hell away, but I couldn't. Not any longer.
