Rhea and Buddy only lived 15 minutes from Damian and I but all through the short journey I was constantly checking over my shoulder and all around for a blue sedan. We pulled up outside the very familiar and once home for me building. Rhea was stood in the doorway waiting to greet me, full protective Mami mode engaged though. "Buddy grab her bags, I just need to get Soph inside. Soph, come straight in, Buddy's got you." I shrugged at Buddy who just nodded and we both did as we were told.

Rhea ushered me inside and presented me with a cup of coffee. "Thanks, not too sure how to feel at the minute so the coffee is a good start." Rhea came and sat on the couch next to me.

"Want to talk Soph?"

"I don't know, I don't know what there is too say. I do need to message Damian though let him know I got here ok." At that point Buddy entered with my bags.

"Don't worry Soph, I'll call him now. See if he needs a hand with anything, you just unwind and make yourself at home."

"Thanks Buddy." I turned back to Rhea and the floodgates opened. "I don't even know why there are tears again. I don't know what it is Damian is doing. What is it that he has planned?"

"I don't know either Soph but Buddy will find out and go help if needed. I'll go make some breakfast. Pancakes?" I nodded and eagerly took a sip from my coffee trying my hardest to relax.

DAMIAN'S POV

I said goodbye to Sophie and knew she was in safe hands with Buddy. I started packing my own bags and boxing things up as much as I could, I had rang Curley over the weekend and filled him in on our move to Buffalo and he had brought us some boxes from his Mum's work for us to get packing sooner rather than later. The phone rang breaking my packing. It was Buddy.

"Hey Buddy, she safe?"

"Of course she is pal, you know I wouldn't let anyone hurt a hair on her head. Rhea would kill me." Buddy chuckled slightly before continuing. "Look, what do you need? Do you need me to come back and help you with whatever it is you are doing? What is it that you are doing?"

"That would be great actually but any chance you can park a block or 2 away and walk to mine. I'm packing up our stuff for the move but also trying to stay here in case that scumbag comes back."

"Anything pal, on my way and you can tell me all about this move you are talking about."

"Great. Bring boxes."

I hung up and returned to packing as much as I could. Some of the bigger things would have to be moved by delivery guys and my weapons collection would be packed by no one but me and then driven in the car to New York, but only when I knew that they wouldn't be needed. I checked the time and saw that the realtor would be open so gave them a ring to get the house on the market as well as ringing Buffalo for an update and to ask what we could do to hurry things along.

I was stood in the hallway about to drop a box into the living room when I heard the backyard door slide open. I placed the box down quietly and shuffled to the corner to peer around and see if it was Buddy. It wasn't. Stood as blatantly as you like in our living room was Dylan. I stood in silence and watched him make his way over to the drawers by the TV and open them. He was rummaging around in them when I decided to step out of the shadows.

"Can I help you?" He froze and turned towards me, fear made his eyes widen. He made a run for it but I wasn't letting him get away. I tackled him to the floor and pinned him. He took a swipe and got in a good punch causing my cheekbone to sting, he took a swing again but I dodged him and landed one back causing his nose to explode. "Now I will ask you again, can I help you?"

"I didn't think anyone was home. I was just looking for something that she took from me. Let me go and I will leave."

"Don't think so. After what you have done the only way you are leaving is in the back of a cop car." He wriggled but I managed to keep him restrained and pinned to the floor. Just when I thought we were going to get into even more of a scrap, the door knocked.

"Damo, it's me. I have the boxes."

"Come on in Buddy. Kind of going to need a hand with something." Buddy opened the door and looked at the situation in front of him.

"I am not helping you hide the body so what else do you need?" Dylan wriggled a little more under my grip and before I had a chance to answer Buddy was on the phone to the cops. It didn't take long for them to arrive and he was bundled into the back of their car in cuffs, pictures handed in as evidence and statements given by both Buddy and I. I knew that that wouldn't be the end of it though.
