Monday came quickly and our morning went as planned. We landed in Charlotte and instead of heading straight to the hotel with everyone else we went to a last minute appointment with an OBGYN we had managed to get. Nervous and holding each other's hands, Damian and I entered and headed towards the receptionist. "Hi there, my name is Sophie Taylor. I rang a few hours ago and you were able to get me a last minute appointment with Dr Goldburn."

"Of course, she will be with you shortly, take a seat."

Damian and I did as she asked and sat in the brightly lit blue waiting room. We were sat with one other couple and a woman on her own who looked as though she was ready to burst. At one point the male of the couple nudged the woman who I assumed to have been his wife and smiled before nodding towards Damian and I. This made me shuffle uncomfortably. The gentleman stood up and started to make his way over to us.

"Miss Taylor." Thankfully the nurse had called us just in time, I was happy for Damian to be recognised anywhere, but not here. Not while we were waiting for our appointment and hadn't actually told anyone as of yet. We both stood up and walked forward. "Right this way please." We were shown to an expensive looking examination room. "Could you please remove your outer layers hop onto the couch please?" I changed and climbed up onto the examination bed and within a few minutes the Dr had joined us.

"Hello there Miss Taylor and." The doctor paused and looked at Damian, eyes widening in shock. "Well hello there, Damian Priest. I mean Mr Priest. I mean. Um, sorry, how should I address you? What brings you here? "

Damian chuckled before answering. "Well for now you can call me Damian and this is my girlfriend Sophie and for now we are your patients and we would like to see how far gone she is and make sure that everything is ok with the little one."

"Of course, I was just shocked to see you. It isn't very often we get people of your calibre here. Do forgive me." Damian nodded. "Right we have a few questions and then we will do a quick scan so we can make sure that the foetus is growing correctly. Does that sound ok to the both of you?"

We both nodded eagerly and answered all the questions we were asked. "Last question before we can check on baby. When was the first day of your last period?"

I sat and thought before biting my lip nervously. "To be honest I think it was about the end of June. I know I wasn't on my period on the 1st July but I had only just finished and it was a very light one, hardly anything at all due to stress. Maybe 2-3 days, so I would hazard a guess at the 28th June maybe, at a really rough guess. I lost track as we had a lot going on in our personal lives." I looked to Damian who didn't appear as shocked or annoyed by my bad date keeping as I thought that he may have been.

We finished up what needed to be done and got ready for the part we were both chomping at the bit for. I laid on the bed and lifted my top to expose my belly and braced myself for the cold gel. "Ok, let's take a look." The Doctor started scanning and I gasped as I saw our little blob on the screen. "Everything looks good. Growing nicely and a good strong heartbeat. I would say judging on the dates, size and development we are looking at about 9 weeks gone. So approximately 10 weeks on Wednesday." The doctor finished the scan, printed us a picture and did some calculations. "So I would say we have an approximate due date 3rd April."

We said our thank yous and goodbyes and were finally in the car on the way to the hotel to relax, eat and get ready for work. "How do you feel Mija? Feel a bit more real now?"

"Definitely. Just waiting now to see if we have a boy or a girl growing nicely." I burst into tears. "Sorry I am just so overwhelmed, to not be pregnant and then all of a sudden be so far gone feels strange. She is certainly taking after her Papi in stealing the show though isn't she? Or he."

"Oh yeah, why's that Mija?"

"3rd April." Damian looked at me dumbfounded. "Literally 3 days before the biggest event of the year. Happens once a year every year, next year is the 40th anniversary. Ring any bells?"

Damian gasped and then chuckled. "Hey little one, no turning up and stealing Papi's big moment on the grandest stage of them all. Wrestlemania is my time, you hear me?" We both laughed before agreeing that we needed to get a wiggle on and get to work. I grabbed my notes and the scan picsand agreed that we would tell the powers that be at tonight's show what was happening.

DAMIAN'S POV

It didn't process until Sophie pointed it out to me that our little Princesa or luchador would be born in the run up to Wrestlemania. I couldn't help but laugh to myself at the irony of it. I also couldn't help but selfishly pray that they would arrive a little early so that I could be at both. Not to mention I would be able to show off our baby to the other superstars backstage.
