I went out to the pool and settled myself on a lounger next to Rhea who was already in a bikini and topping up the tan. "So I may have told Damian earlier that I want kids with him?" I blurted out before reaching for my drink and pretending as though I hadn't just dropped the baby bomb on someone for the second time today.

Rhea nearly choked on her swig of beer before collecting herself and answering me. "Ok, so by maybe you mean you did." I raised my hand and did a so so movement to suggest I did but not intentionally. "What did he say? Did Papi like the idea of being a proper Papi and not just a bedroom Papi?" I rolled my eyes at her before answering.

"He said that he has thought about it, with me. That he has thought about our future which let's face it, I didn't even realise I could have a future with my past. I didn't think I would ever be able to find someone who would stick with me after learning about who I was. Even Dylan used to try and use it against me. Damian said he wants them when the time is right. He wants kids Rhea. With me! When he says he loves me, he genuinely means it." I couldn't help but giggle a little at the end. It felt weird to say it all out loud.

"Why is that so hard for you to believe Soph? You 2 are meant to be together, I've known that from the night of the rumble, how upset you both were about things, I just didn't realise before which is why I tried to stop it. I genuinely thought, until I saw you as a couple, that he was rebound for you and you were a lay for him. I am pleased to know that I was wrong though and it is not very often that you will hear me say that. I will however point out one thing."

"Which is what exactly?"

"I have always thought that if you were to ever have kids that Demi would be a great name for a girl or even Adelaide at a push." I rolled my eyes again and threw a beach ball at her as we both started laughing together. I felt the happiest and most content I had in a long time.

DAMIAN'S POV

I wasn't sure how much of the conversation I had missed but I had heard enough to know that Sophie was finally starting to relax and understand that I meant it when I said I wasn't going anywhere. I heard Sophie admit some of our earlier conversation to Rhea and I was pleasantly surprised to hear and see that she didn't appear scared or as though she was going to run.

Hearing her admit to Rhea though that she finally understood I meant what I said made my heart leap, it finally felt as though she was allowing herself to be happy with me. I cleared my throat as soon as I heard Rhea giving her ideas on baby names. "Sorry to interrupt ladies. Matt is on his way as well as a few of the others so I need to get the grill on."

I saw the looks that Sophie and Rhea swapped as though they knew that I had heard their conversation so I decided to have a little bit of fun. I made my way to the grill and started lighting it. "Are you girls having fun?"

"Yes thank you. Rhea and I were just having a laugh and chatting. Nothing important." Sophie answered me but I could hear Rhea sniggering and trying not too laugh.

"By the way, I am not too sure about Demi or Adelaide. I have always preferred Amaris for a girl, it means Moonchild. Or if we were to have a boy then I would like Brandon Luis, for obvious reasons." I turned around to see what the pair of them were doing. Rhea was trying not to look awkward while having a drink and Sophie was sat looking over the top of her sunglasses at me with her bottom jaw practically touching the lounger. "You ok there Mija? Look like you've seen a ghost."

"I..I..um..I'm fine."

"Are you sure Mija? You seem to have gone extremely pale. Here is me talking about names I like, did you have any names in mind that you want to throw in the ring Mija?" Sophie still hadn't said much other than that she was fine and seemed to be going paler by the second. Just at that moment, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get that." Soph jumped up and practically ran to the door tripping over her own feet. She was so clumsy at times that it was almost sweet.

"So Damo, seems to be serious. Or were you just yanking her chain when you were talking about the names?" Rhea quizzed me.

"I guess you will have to wait until mi pequeña princesa or mi pequeña luchador is born." Before we were able to say much more Soph, Matt and the others had come through to the garden. Rhea just gave me a knowing look and continued to party with the rest of the gang.

We partied until early evening but then tiredness, jet lag and work got the best of us and people started disappearing home and off to the airport. By 11pm Sophie and I were left alone to watch what was left of the fireworks.
