Trying new things

One day, late at night, during 7th year, Sirius and Remus were sitting in the common room. Sirius looked up from where he was looking at the map. "Hey Remus? Wanna go for a walk?" He asked, smiling at his boyfriend.

"It's 2am, day before exams, I need to study." Remus replied, going back to the paper he was revising. Sirius waved his wand, making Remus' things vanish. "Sirius Black. What did you do?" Remus glared at the smirking boy. "Taking you for a walk. You need to lighten up babe." He smiled, taking his hand and leading him out of the common room.

Remus mumbled to himself, wondering where he was taking him. Sirius lead him to the kitchens, making him wait outside, coming back with a basket full of food, and then proceeding to go outside onto the grounds.

The couple walked down the familiar path to their special spot. Just as beautiful as always but now something different. There was fairy lights strung among the trees, small blue and green orbs floating through the air.

"Sirius? What is this?" Remus asked, sitting in the grass. "I decided to try something new. I'm settling for one person. You." Sirius replied, kneeling infront of him. "Remus, I've known you since First year, loved you since 3rd, and wanting to spend the rest of my life with you since now, so Remus, Will you marry me?"

Remus smiled, tears of happiness running down his cheeks as he tackled his new fiancé onto the ground, saying "Yes", over and over between kisses.
