Remus Lupin say against a tree near the water's edge, reading a muggle book. After a few pages, a shadow was cast over the words, causing him to look up into the eyes of Marlene McKinnion.

"Hello Marlene." Remus smiled, setting his book to the side. "Hi Remus." She giggled, sitting next to him. Unknown to them, James happened to be walking by with Lily. "Oh no, Padfoot isn't going to like that." Lily muttered, about to walk over when James stopped her.

"Just wait and watch love." James wrapped an arm around her and pointed to the couple under the tree and a rather large black dog making it's way over.

"So Remus? Going to Hogsmeade with anyone?" Marlene flirted, leaning into Remus. Said werewolf looked highly uncomfortable and was about to respond when a large black mass of fur jumped into his lap.

"Actually, yeah, I'm going with Romeo here." Remus kissed the dog's head and laughed when said dog licked his face. "Oh. Nevermind then." She sniffed and left in a hurry.

Remus turned to face the large dog who curled up comfortably in his lap. "Overprotective git." Remus chuckled and continued reading as Sirius, a.k.a Romeo, slept in his boyfriend's lap.
