Y/n's pov:

"Okay okay, what do we do now." I asked Chaerin before we would talk to our parents.

"I don't know yet. It depends. If mom asks "why do you suddenly send letters, we tell her it's a prank. If she asks why your friends took our neighbor's ladder, we tell her we have nothing to do with it." Chaerin replied and we took notes.

"Okay then there's another possible scenario." I looked at her.

"And that would be?" She asked back.

"That none of this happens and we just get grounded." I thought of a possible scenario that could also happen.

"No, there's no way dad will let mom ground us. He wants us to keep a secret how he forgot their anniversary. He knows we'll expose him." Chaerin replied with a satanic smirk.

"Why do you always think of the things I don't?" I asked and erased the scenario from my note pad.

Getting grounded, erased.

"I'm the smarter sister duh." She laughed and made a dramatic hair flip.

"You're watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians a bit too much." I rolled my eyes as her hair hit my face.

Today I was totally okay and on board. At least it was Friday so the last school day of the week.

I'm just hoping the girls don't feel the need to distance themselves after the letters.

I woke up earlier with Chaerin to talk about the explanations we'd give to our parents.

It's probably the only day I'd not be going to school with Danielle. I was too much of a coward still to not stand like an npc.

"Okay, so that leaves us with getting scolded and eating eggplant salads for a week." Chaerin said before getting up from her bed.

Her room is better for a conversation than mine. It's next to my parents' bedroom so they couldn't hear us since they were both in the kitchen.

We got to the kitchen where mom was looking at us from head to toe.

"Don't look at me like that. We'll talk later, you're not skipping school again." Mom scolded us and we just nodded our heads nervously.

We took our time to brush our teeth, get dressed and leave.

When we were getting outside I was just hoping Danielle wouldn't be outside.

Maybe the luckiest day of the year for me. She wasn't there thankfully.

"Are you getting your ass here or what?" I grabbed Chaerin who was looking at her phone.

When we arrived at school I got to my friends and we quickly started our day normally by making fun of each other before a girl tapped my shoulder.

I turned around to find Danielle looking at me.

"You're back! I'm sorry I didn't wait for you, I just thought you wouldn't be here." She said brightly.

"Y-yeah! I'm back. No worries, you didn't know." I reassured her.

Didn't she get the letter? Why is she so... So rainbow...?

"So...can we talk when you get home? Or we can go to mine. Whatever you want." She lowered her tone.

My friends then started going inside.

"Sure. Did anything happen?" I asked trying to fish some information.

"We have to discuss something. Don't worry. It's not bad." She patted my shoulder and I flinched at the sudden touch.

"Let's go inside? Before the teacher marks us as absent." I said after taking a look at my smartwatch.

"Wait Y/n!" She yelled and grabbed my hand before I could turn around.

Suddenly I felt hands being wrapped around my waist.

I felt myself getting red, like really red. This was the most Danielle had ever touched me.

"Have a nice day!" She quickly said before running off.

"Park Y/n? I repeat Park Y/n? Is she absent?" The teacher kept asking.

Until I appeared. "I'm here Mr. Jung, don't mark me absent please." I said with a deep bow and sat on my seat with Hyunseo next to me.

"You're a lucky bitch. He isn't in a great mood today." She whispered.

"When is he ever in a great mood?" I rolled my eyes.

At least today I don't have classes with the wobble stick.

After the class was over the principal called every class to gather for an announcement.

I sat on a comfortable spot where I could hear what was being said with my friends.

"It's probably about the field trip." Gyu said and put his arm on my head. This guy I swear.

"As you may or may not know, every year,our school organizes field trips at the end of the school year." (Let's pretend it's summer I miss it sm)

Before he could continue a student raised his hand to ask something.

"Will Mrs.Cho accompany us?" He asked and the principal then replied inside the microphone.

"Of course, she does every year." Then everyone started the "boo" and "NOOO" chants.

We all laughed like crazy.

"Uh anyways, please hear me out." The principal replied nervously after taking a look at the fuming wobble stick.

"This year our council has decided we are visiting Jeju. Just like every trip, it will last 5 days. This means everyone needs to get admissions for the prices and everything related. An important note, your parents need to agree to bring you here, so they'll need to be here and sign the paper for assurance."

That was all the principal announced and we all gave an applause and gathered to our classes again without making a bigger fuss.
