Y/n's pov:

After what happened with Dani I got extra protective. I can't let her be like that, she means a lot to me.

"Y/n! Kitchen, now!" A voice echoed from the kitchen.

Damn... Here we go.

"Hello mom, how was work?" I greeted and asked as usual.

"It was fine...What do you expect? It's like 21:30 already sweetie. But don't change the topic lady!" She scolded and sat on the table.

"Explain please." She stated and drank some of the tea she made.

"Mom there's really nothing to explain..." I tried to reason.

"But there is! Why did your friends enter from your window? Did they try to sneak anything in without us knowing? Why were you yelling?" She asked suspiciously.

"Look mom, they just wanted some suspense I guess and the rest... Well I- I can't tell you!" I said realizing I can't tell her about the letters.

"Y/n. I know what you did." Mom said and sighed.

How does she know? Shit...

"I know you skipped school when you weren't sick." She drank a bit of her tea.

Oooooooh that's what she knows.

"Uh yeah you caught me." I faked a sad face.

"You know it would be better not to do that, unless you have a reason of course..." She forrowed her brows.

"Okay mom... Understood. I'm sorry." I bowed and went to my room.

My phone started ringing and I was worried. It was Hanni.

"Y/n? Is this a good timing?" She whispered on the phone.

"Hanni? Why are you whispering?" I chuckled.

"I'm in a weird position right now. But tell me, is it a good time to call you or should I hang up?" She whispered asked again.

"It's a good time. I'm in my room alone so yeah. But why?" I asked confused.

"Look outside." She whispered.

I looked outside of my window shocked and it was Hanni with a ladder.

Not the damn ladder again God.

"Hanni! Are you crazy? Not the ladder!" I whispered yelled in the phone while looking at her with an angry look.

"Why not? I'm being careful here." She whispered back with a small smile.

"Open your window Y/n, please, it's freezing." She whispered again.

I opened the window and she got inside.

"Are you crazy!?" If mom finds out I'm definitely grounded this time.

"No! I just have something to show you." She said and she got something out of her bag.

"Okay so... Maybe there's not something in my bag actually but..." She said and before I could respond to anything...

She kissed me.

"That's it, good night Y/n." She said with a smile and got out of my window again while I was speechless.

Hanni freaking Pham kissed me?

After this I kept touching my lips like I was still feeling her around.

I got under my covers with wide eyes and crimson red cheeks until it went 1:00 am and I naturally fell asleep.
