Y/n's pov:
After the talk with Hanni, Y/n had to stay alone for a while. She did skip school but, she didn't go home.
She stayed at the lake for a while, observing the peaceful atmosphere of the environment.
It's physically impossible for her to let people hurt her anymore. If she gives Hanni another chance to enter her life, it should be gained.
When she finally returned, she was alone. She was wondering where Chaerin was of course. What if anyone appeared and her sister wasn't here?
"Y/n?" A voice asked and popped their head inside her room.
"Dad? What are you doing here?" She asked anxious.
"I got a call from school... Why aren't you there?" He asked from the corner of my room.
"I felt sick too." I explained.
"Yeah... Explains why you're white like paper." He raised his brows.
"Come on Y/n, it's the two of us, tell me why you're here. I already know Chaerin isn't sick. Just yesterday she asked if she could go to that one club with her friends." He eyed me with a small smile.
"Okay fine, I didn't have classes for the first hour, then I met someone while going to the convenience store and we hung out for a while. The rest is history since you're here." I explained with my head low.
"Okay... I won't ask you to elaborate since you seem uneasy but if you just want to skip school, tell me beforehand. I was worried sick." He patted my head.
"By the way, when Chaerin comes back, tell her to call me. I'm going back to work." He kissed my forehead and he left again...
Hours passed and Y/n was asleep. Suddenly her door knocked and it was her mother.
"Y/n? Sweetie? Wake up baby, you've been asleep for hours. You have a fever." Mom said and I woke up.
I have a what? Did I get sick for real?
"Do I have a fever for real?" I asked and tried to get up, but I suddenly started feeling dizzy.
Was this bitch sick for real or did I just got a flu from Hyein?
"Mooom, my head hurts." I complained and put my hand on my forehead.
I was hot as hell. (Double meaningg)
"I know baby, I already called Haerin to come over and take care of you." Mom said and before trying to close the door until a Flash like Chaerin got in my room.
"What do you mean you called Haerin over?! Kang Haerin?" She asked with wide eyes.
"Yes...?" Mom asked her and eyed her from head to toe.
"And did she agree to come over?" Chaerin asked anxiously.
"Of course she did. She sounded happy on phone." Mom said and closed the door along with Chaerin.
"Aigo, come here too, were you not sick today?" Mom scolded Chaerin from behind the door.
Chaerin's pov:
Fuck fuck fuck
The letters are already gone.
Did Haerin receive it and feels the same or does she want to come over to reject Y/n?
Shit I messed up.
There's five of them.
Y/n gotta explain to every single one of them because of me.
WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THIS EARLIER.
When I was about to go to Y/n's room again to confess my stupidity, the bell rang.
"Chaerin! Go open the door, I'm cooking!" Mom yelled.
I went over and opened the door to see Haerin waiting with a bag.
"Hey cat." I greeted her with a smile.
"Hi rat." She greeted back before doing our handshake.
"How's Y/n?" She asked with a calm smile.
"She has a fever... How come you're here?" I asked trying not to sound suspicious.
"Uh, just because..." She asked and looked down.
Shit shit I'm fucked...
