"Y/n... Y/n! Wake the hell up!" An angry girl hit the other with a pillow.

"Dang, it's like 7 a.m, gimme a break." Y/n groaned and put the pillow on her face.

"No break for you, mom made breakfast. Come on, we'll walk to school together today." Chaerin said and walked out of the room, not forgetting to slam the door for her sister to wake up.

"This is gonna be a long day..." Y/n mumbled and got up.

Y/n's pov:

I guess sleep is a sin when you have to go to school the other day. I stayed up all night playing video games with my friend Hyunseo and we lost track of time.

I checked the time and holy, it's late, I need to eat and get ready. My sister better be Flash, we need to get out of this household on 7:45 a.m sharp.

I brushed my teeth and quickly went to the kitchen to take some bites of my breakfast, which consists of 2 slices of bread, some peanut butter and some banana slices on top.

"Y/n, stop eating like a hippo, you still have time." Mom scolded.

"No let her, she realized she's gonna be late to meet Da-" Chaerin started but I closed her mouth before finishing her sentence.

"Dad! S- she was going to say dad! What's taking him so long? I was hoping to talk to him before leaving." Oof, almost exposed.

"Oookay?" Mom looked at us suspiciously and I made eye contact with Chaerin before taking my hand from her mouth.

"Did I hear that someone wanted to see me?" Dad showed up and kissed mine and my sister's foreheads.

"Here Y/n was in a silly mood and wanted to talk to you suddenly..." Chaerin said and side eyed me.

I checked the time and quickly got up to go to my room. There I texted my sister who had her phone with her.

Shut up, I'm not exposing you. Just get your flat ass here, I need to be ready in 15 minutes.

I wore the clothes I had already set aside since last night. I need to be ready every single day.

I wore my usual makeup and made my bag since I didn't even remember what I had for homework. I didn't study for shit.

"We'll be late come on! We have 3 minutes!" My sister said and dragged me to the door before mom and dad could even comment on anything.

"Oh hey Y/n! And Chaerin!" A familiar voice spoke when they were about to go down the stairs.

I really liked that voice. I quickly turned around and smiled while Chaerin just kept walking down.

"Hey Danielle." I greeted before apologizing on my sister's behavior.

"Oh yeah I understand, I remember running down the stairs of my old apartment to meet my friends." Danielle commented.

"Well... Now, you can just walk with me. I don't think it's a coincidence anymore that we leave at the same time." I said trying to hint that I'd love if we walked together every day.

"You're right actually. We should walk together every day. By the way, you look amazing!" She replied and looked at me from head to toe after that compliment.

I could swear I saw her licking her lips.

"Flattery will actually get you everywhere." I chuckled and we started walking down.

"Shoot, it's almost 8:00! Up to race there?" Danielle asked and smirked.

"Guess we should have some fun before going to the prison's cells." I smirked back started running.

She started chasing me and we ending up panting in front of the gate with many students giving us weird looks.

"Talk to you later Y/n." Danielle squeezed my left hand a little before leaving to go to her class.

"Was that Marsh?" A little voice behind me asked.

"Hey Haerin, you mean Danielle? Yeah, that was her." I smiled and went closer to her.

"I ship it." She smiled and we made our way to our classrooms without further comments because I started feeling uneasy.

She had Chemistry for the first period and I remember having Science. Guess what? We both hate these.

Today was the day our test marks would be announced.

I sat on the only available desk, without a seatmate. I don't like having a seatmate. Well... I don't like it except if it's Minji from cal class.

I started setting my bag down and taking out my book and notebook along with my pencil case.

When I wasn't looking, someone approached me and tried to make their presence known by speaking...

"Excuse me, is the seat next to you taken?" That was at least not a guy's voice.

"Uh sorry, I wouldn't like to have a seatmate." I spoke without looking at the girl.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'll go somewhere else." She replied and I realized I sounded rude by saying this. So before she could leave I looked up and spoke.

Thank God she wasn't very far, her long black hair was still visible in front of me.

"Hey, actually, I'm sorry. Sure, you can sit next to me." I said and she turned around with a smile.

"Thank you." She simply said and set her things in the seat next to mine.

I was astronized. I almost denied Lee Hyein. I think I started turning red so I looked at the window, next to the desk.

"What's your name?" She suddenly asked and caught me off guard.

"I'm Park Y/n. And you?" I asked her like I totally hadn't written a letter to her.

I guess I didn't know her though, we have never ever spoken before.

"Lee Hyein. Nice to meet you." She extended her hand for a handshake but then Mrs.Cho entered the classroom and everything was shut down.
