Y/n's pov:

"This is so weird..." I mumbled as I looked around, while laying on the damn ground. Correction, inside a tent.

With Hanni, Haerin, Hyein and Hyunseo.

The H's will definitely destroy me if Hanni keeps bickering with everyone.

"At least I'm not on the same tent with that poor sport princess." Hanni smiled and kept looking on top.

"I fucking heard that!" Minji yelled from the tent next to us as me and the girls were trying to hold our laughs.

"I love this so much." Hyunseo whispered in my ear and got under her covers to laugh without being heard as I hit her lightly.

"Hey Y/n, wanna take a walk? I'm too hyper to sleep." Hanni asked me as Hyein and Haerin complained about the two of us being unsupervised.

"Shush! Me and Hanni are going alone. No spying." I looked at Hyein who rolled her eyes.

"And no bewitching to turn into frogs or something." I turned to Haerin.

"Fine..." She mumbled, as me and Hanni got out of the tent quietly, so the others wouldn't follow us.

When our steps couldn't be heard anymore, we run across the beach.

"No way they can find us here." She said between a laugh we shared. The cause of it? Well, at the beach there's usually sand.

We tried to run so fast that our feet got stuck and we fell upon each other directly on the sand.

"There's a convenience store there. Wait here, lemme just get something." I said as an idea popped in my mind.

I had some money on me and decided to grab a bottle of red wine.

I remember watching all the movies where the main characters had dates like this and I was so jealous... I wanted to experience it so bad. That's my chance.

With a plastic bag and a moderately heavy bottle of white wine, I arrived again at the same place Hanni was waiting, looking at the stars.

"It's so pretty he- oh my gosh. What did you do Y/n?" There was disbelief in her eyes and she gave me a look that could melt anyone.

"I thought we'd enjoy a little date like that."

"But you spent your money! Are you sure we were okay with this?" She asked worried.

"Shut up. We're not here to worry. Just enjoy the moment and clear your head." I told her and grabbed the wine bottle along with two little cups the cashier gave me.

"They must have arrived by now. Is no one worried? There are like a dozen of people missing right now." Hanni said before drinking a sip of her wine.

"No idea, but I'm not complaining. I quite like it here." I replied as I was completely drawn to the waves that came and went every few seconds.

"Remember when I asked you to tutor me? Well, I just wanted to spend time with you. I didn't know if you hated me or not so I just did this." She confessed.

"The surprising part is that I considered it! I really did promise myself to refrain from talking to you. Jokes on me. Look at us being here right now." I chuckled.

"Do you think I don't know about that night you and Yeojin were singing Olivia Rodrigo under my house?" I let out a surprised laugh and she continued to mock me.

"Gosh I love teasing you so much." She said and layed her head on my legs.

I put away the wine and started playing with her bangs, more like ruining them.

"Recently I've been thinking." I wanted to wait and let her continue but I couldn't resist.

"You were thinking? With what?"

"Y/n! Shut up."

"So... I was thinking. I don't wanna ruin things again. By distancing. This time it's different since the feelings involved are romantic but I don't wanna do this again. It pained me so much to not update you about anything I did when we cut contact." She said and I felt the sincerity in her voice.

"Have you thought of doing it again?" I asked her. These thoughts don't just appear, something must have been in her mind before.

"Well yeah. When I told you I would court you with so much confidence, in my mind there wasn't even half of it. And with so many girls around you it's hard to think you won't choose one of them in the end."

"Is that Hanni Pham breaking her famous untouchable character?" We both chuckled but then I spoke again.

"In all seriousness, I don't know what I'm gonna do. Time is passing and I gotta make a choice but it's so hard when my feelings are so messed up."

For once, I was honest with someone about all this.

"You know what? In my opinion, you should take some time away from all of us. Spend it away from feelings and romance and just have your fun. Throughout moments of being happy you'll realize who you want by your side at moments like that, if you even want any of us in the end."

She was being so serious that I felt like I was talking to a friend for a moment.

"Thank you Hanni. This helps me, even if you don't realize it." I told her and then silence hit us.

It was pretty obvious that none of us wanted to leave and ruin whatever was happening between us, so we didn't move.

Even though we both knew that if Hanni wasn't the one for me, I would lose her forever.
