"I promise, you don't need to to be nervous." Shuri reassured me for what felt like the hundredth time.

I took another deep breath in, forgetting to let it out.

"Hazel, breathe." She laughed, "You'll be fine."

We were currently in the aircraft headed to Wakanda. I was so nervous. I had never been this far away from home, especially without Riri.

Shuri could tell that my nerves were getting the best of me from my excessive leg shaking and brief moments of hyperventilating.

My brain still hadn't comprehended that I confessed my love for her, started my first relationship, and up and moved across the world all in 24 hours.

I was happy to finally be with her, but it felt like a lot.

"I feel like I'm starting a new school or something, do you know what it's like to be the new girl?" I mumbled, rubbing my hands up and down my jeans.

Wait, was I suppose to be wearing something fancier? I mean I am about to walk into royalty.

"Am I underdressed?" I asked, panicking. "Should I change? Most of the clothes I packed are jeans. Oh God."

"Babygirl, you look fine. Stop overthinking. Do you see me dressed up?"

I relaxed a little realizing that she was definitely not dressed up.

"Did you just call me babygirl?" I asked, taking a few seconds to realize.

"I did" She smirked, pulling me closer to her.

A smile spread across my face as I placed a soft kiss on her lips, making me forget that I was even nervous.

"Queen Shuri, we are now entering Wakanda." A male voice rang through the aircraft.

Shit.

"I got you."

It was comforting to hear, but it didn't take any of the fear away and in that moment I found myself missing Riri more than ever.

She was always able to calm me when I was all over the place, and having her here with me would probably make this a lot less nerve wrecking.

I was an emotional mess leaving her. We both knew it would be a while before we saw each other again and we had never gone that long without each other.

"Come look." Shuri encouraged me as she stood near the window.

I slowly got out of my seat, walking over to where she was and looking out of the window.

"It's so beautiful." I gasped.

It truly was, I could see why she was so proud of it. I couldn't understand how she left all of this behind for as long as she did.

"Yeah, it is." She responded

I looked over to see her staring at me.

"Stop." I blushed, hitting her arm.

A took one last deep breath as the aircraft landed, grabbing Shuri's hand. She smiled, bringing it up to her lips and placing a kiss on it.

"Let's go." She whispered.

The door of the aircraft opened, revealing a crowd of people dancing to the beat of drums.

"Wow." I whispered, amazed at what I was witnessing.

Shuri didn't seem to be fazed by it at all, meaning this was normal for her.

She kept a smile on her face as she greeted everyone, making sure to not let go of my hand.
