"How'd it go?" Riri asked as I entered the room.

"She's definitely still mad at me." I responded, throwing myself on the bed, face down.

"Nope. Get up." Mallory demanded, pulling me back up from the bed. "You two can figure it out later. We're leaving this room, go get ready."

"I don't wanna." I whined, stomping like a child.

"Too bad." She pushed me into the bathroom, closing the door before I could say anything else.

I was actually grateful that they were here, even if they were forcing me to go out in public. I probably needed it more than I realized.

I quickly brushed my teeth and fixed the mess of hair that sat on my head, throwing it into a neat ponytail.

"What're we doing?" I asked as I exited the bathroom. "Where's Riri?"

"I don't have an answer for either of those questions." Mallory shrugged.

I figured she was probably up to something.. as usual.

"Ready?" Riri yelled when she finally came back into the room. Luckily I was dressed and ready by the time she returned.

"Yup." Mallory and I responded.

We spent the day showing Mallory the beauty of Wakanda. Her reaction to everything was the exact same as mine when I first saw it.

"I'm gonna find a husband and stay here forever." Mallory said as we finally made it back.

I enjoyed being out with them, but it required so much energy.

"Good luck with that." Riri laughed. "I'll be right back. Stay right here."

I looked at Mallory with a confused look on my face as Riri ran off somewhere.

She's definitely up to something..

Minutes passed and she still hadn't returned.

"Riri just texted me. Come." Mallory said, pulling me down the hall after we had been standing there for the past 20 minutes.

"How do you know where we're going?"

"You're the only one bad at directions." She laughed, stopping at a room door and opening it.

A small gasp came out of my mouth once I realized what was happening.

Rose petals covered the floor along with candles, leading to a pallet that sat under 2 canvases, paint, and paintbrushes.

I looked over at Mallory who was also admiring the scene in front of us, then at Riri who had a mischievous grin on her face.

Shuri stood beside her with her arms crossed and from the look on her face, she had absolutely nothing to do with this and was just as surprised as I was.

"What is this?" I mumbled, walking over to where they were standing.

"I think you guys deserve a date night." Riri responded, excited.
