| Hazel |

"Hazel, I literally can not find a thing." Riri sighed, still scrolling through her computer.

We had been sitting here for the past three hours trying to find some kind of information on this girl, but of course we were having no luck.

"You might have better luck than me. You're actually there where she is." She picked up the phone, putting her focus on me. "I just don't have enough information. I'm sorry."

I let out a groan, throwing myself back on the bed. I took another glance at the desk, tempted to just go and open the envelope.

Maybe that would tell me something..

Riri had already lectured me after I told her what I did, saying that if I really wanted information I should just ask Shuri.

"Hazel." Her tone was more of a warning, already knowing the thought that was crossing my mind. "You already invaded her privacy by snooping through her stuff. Please don't open that envelope."

I sighed, rolling my eyes at the fact that she was right.

I was already starting our relationship off on the wrong foot. She hadn't even done anything and I was convincing myself that I couldn't trust her.

"Do you think it was serious?" I mumbled, still focusing on the desk.

I think that's what was bothering me so much, not knowing the complexity of the relationship that they had.

Riri shrugged, "Maybe... but she's with you now."

"But what if she really wants to be with her.. What if she's just settling for me?"

The thought made me sick. I was putting my whole heart into this, but what if she wasn't?

"Stop overthinking." She gave me a stern, serious look like I was in trouble. "Hazel, for just once in your life please don't stand in the way of your own happiness."

Hm, I guess that is a bad habit of mine..

"Okay mom.." I mumbled.

She gave me another stern look, not believing that I was being genuine.

"Thanks for trying to help me. I'll let you go to sleep now." I said, trying to get out of being in trouble with her.

I instantly hopped out of the bed after we said our goodbyes, walking back over to the desk and resting my hand on the knob of the drawer.

I stood in front of the desk, slowly opening the drawer. The envelope sat in the corner exactly like it was when I found it.

I read the front of it over and over again, trying to convince myself it's probably better if I didn't know.

A sigh escaped my lips as my ran my fingers over it. Riri's words ran through my head continuously.

Don't stand in the way of your own happiness.

Fuck it..

I picked the envelope up, taking a deep breath before turning it over.

"Looking for something?"

Shit.

Shuri's voice made me jump, dropping the envelope back into the drawer.

How the hell did I not hear her come in...

I quickly closed the drawer and turned around to face her.

"Nope." I smiled nervously while she stood there with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Hm." Was all that she said before walking over to me, pushing me gently against the desk. "You sure?"

She stared at me intensely, like she knew I was doing something sneaky and she was trying to make me confess.

"Mhm." I hummed, trying my best to avoid eye contact with her.

She laughed, making me look at her again and giving me the same stare as before.

I grabbed her shirt, pulling her into me and giving her an intense kiss.

I was hoping it would take the attention off of what she thought she saw.

Well what she actually saw..

She pulled back, smirking at me.

"I missed you."

"Come here." She pulled me over to the bed, sitting down and placing me her lap. "You know, when I said I wanted you to come here with me, it wasn't for you to just sit in here all day. There's more to Wakanda than just my room." She laughed.

"Hm, let's see. I don't know anyone, I don't know where anything is, and you're always away. I don't think I have many options." I complained.

"You could come with me. To my lab. Or you could go out and explore."

"No. That's your space, and my sense of direction is terrible so if I leave there's a strong chance I'm not finding my way back."

She rolled her eyes as the words left my mouth.

"I don't mind." She argued, grabbing my hand and placing a kiss on it. "And trust me, I'll find you."

"I'll think about it." I responded, knowing I wasn't actually going to.

She rolled her eyes at me before snuggling her face into my neck.

"I missed you too." She finally said, laying a kiss on my neck.

A giggle left my mouth as she continued, running her hand up my thigh until she reached the waistband of my shorts, slipping her hand into them before I could protest.

She looked up at me with a satisfied look on her face, watching as I instantly weakened from the feeling of her fingers inside of me.

"I can't hear you." She whispered, resting her forehead on mine as I attempted to hold in my moans.

It felt weird knowing that someone could possibly hear me.

"Queen Shuri, a guest has just arrived." The voice announced from her beads, making me pull back, groaning at the interruption.

"Tell them to leave." I mumbled, connecting our lips again.

She removed her hand from my shorts, gently removing me from her lap.

"It may be important. We'll finish later. I promise." She laughed as I let out another groan.

I hopped up with her, deciding to join her. I just had to see what was important enough to interfere with our intimate time.

She had a confused look on her face, grabbing my hand as we walked down the halls to the front.

There was a girl standing at the door. She looked about our age with dark brown skin and braids that fell down to her waist.

She was so beautiful and had one of the best bodies I've ever seen.

Shuri immediately let go of my hand the moment she saw the girl, stopping in her tracks.

"Hi Shuri." A smirk spread across her face seeing the look on Shuri's face.

You would've thought she had just seen a ghost or something.

"I heard you were back.. I just wanted to drop in and say hi." The girl stood there with that same smug smirk on her face, rocking back and forth on her heels.

I sighed, folding my arms across my chest, watching the interaction.

The smirk told me everything that I needed to know, but for once I was hoping that I was wrong.

Shuri looked at me, then back at the girl, taking a deep breath in.

She finally spoke, her voice just above a whisper.

"Nadia.."
