| Hazel |I woke up to feeling of arms wrapped around me, holding me as close and tight as possible.
I looked up to see Shuri, snoring softly and a smile immediately spread across my face thinking about last night.
I tried getting up, but I couldn't move a bit.
I let out a sigh as I struggled to release myself from her grip. The more I struggled, the tighter it got.
"Shuri, I have to pee." I finally said, feeling defeated.
Her snores stopped the moment I tried to get up, so I knew she was awake even though her eyes were still closed.
She mumbled something under her breath before finally releasing me.
I couldn't help but smile at the moment we were having. It had been a while since we had such an intimate moment and the butterflies in my stomach told me I missed it a little too much.
I got up from the bed, walking to the door and slowly opening it.
I peeped across the hall to see Riri's room door still closed. The last thing that I wanted to do was explain why I was sneaking out of Shuri's room at this time of the morning.
Not even a second after I stepped out of the room, her door was open and she was walking out of it.
Dammit.
A surprised look took over her face as she looked from me, to the door, back to me.
Her eyebrows rose and dropped just as quickly, as she turned away from me and headed into the living room.
"Wait Riri," I walked after her.
"Nope. I'm staying out of it."
"I'm sorry." I said, ignoring her comment. "I didn't mean to snap on you like that. You've been nothing but supportive through everything. You didn't deserve that."
She stood there silently as if she was deciding if she actually wanted to forgive me.
"Fine." She finally said as a smile crept on her face. "but don't let it happen again." She gave me a stern look like she was my mother.
"I promise I won't."
She walked over to the couch with me following behind her and we plopped down on it.
"So what was that?" She smirked, nodding her head in the direction of Shuri's room.
"You locked me out!" I laughed, lightly hitting her leg. "You know how afraid I am of thunderstorms."
"Hm. It stormed last night? Didn't notice." She shrugged, holding back her laughter. "No, but really when I finally realized, I came to your room, but I guess I was too late."
"It's fine." I said giving her a small smile.
"I bet so. I'm sure the last thing you were focused on last night was a little bit of thunder."
I smiled, replaying Shuri's words in my mind.
That never went away. It won't ever go away
"I take that as a yes." She smirked.
"Nothing like that happened." I clarified, already knowing where her mind had gone. "We just had a conversation that we really needed to have. I finally feel like I have a piece of mind."
"So our plan worked."
"Plan? What plan?"
"I don't know what you're talking about." She laughed, acting completely clueless.
